Windows 7 64bit
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
AMD SEMPRON 145 Sargas 2.8GHz Socket AM3
2GB RAM
4x Radeon R9 290 (or 290X)
Everything is stable and it's been mining for 9 months like that. Sometimes a GPU drops out and zecminer64 is restarting it. But this is first time zecminer64.exe crashed itself.

Hello guys, i'm mining on equihash alghoritm, and i have dual Gigabite AMD Radeon HD 6970 2GB cards.
I get only 20-23 Sol/s . Total sped: 20.500 H/s : GPU 1: 10.500 H/s and GPU 2 : 9.900 H/s
I have the settings bellow:
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe -allpools 1 -zpool stratum.aikapool.com:9927 -zwal evilxzone.vot -zpsw xxx -asm 1,1 -i 1.2

If i set higher -i (2-9) it's gets reseted to <1> do to lack of memory (as it says the miner) : i have 4 gb total video, 8 gb real RAM memory, with virtual memory set at 32 GB.

Whay i do wrong here? I think these 2 videocards should get more than 23 Sol/s Sad The temperatures stays low anyway: 72 degrees C instead of 90 Sad
Happy new year 2018 Smiley And thanks in advance Smiley

Delete asm and intensity options. They are asm=1 and i=6 by default (which is just fine for standard mining).

Could somone help me work out why a GPU starts with 0 Sol?
Then I see OpenCL GPU Hang errors.

GPU is ASUS Dual RX580 8GB
Stock BIOS and with Ubermix 3.2 mem strap both lock up

For testing the GPU is running off its own 750w PSU, so I don't think its power.

Changed PCI riser for a new one

Card is only 2 months old, could it be faulty?

For testing, you should hook it up directly to motherboard, not separate PSU+riser, you are creating another layer of potential problems.
Try different miner software as well. If still doesn't work, try reinstalling AMD driver.

Yes, but even if i do this, same 20-23 Sol/s results. The error seems that's not here Sad

miningpoolhub SSL/TLS connection (this pool detects encryption automatically so it uses same port as for unencrypted connection):
   ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20570 -zwal YourLogin.YourWorkerName -zpsw YourWorkerPassword

Hi is YourLogin is Wallet address? Reason asking is that I made wallet from BTGwallet.online and using miningpoolhub.com as miner and there was no reference to the wallet address in miningpolhub.com.

Shipping beats perfection. So "ship" and then improve (that 1%).

Hey guys, i've been mining for 2 years with zcash, and mostly have 290x, 280x toxic and 470x rigs.  I love the 290x's the best, but are there any new cards that anyone would recommend?  I've read through the specs on some of AMD's new stuff, and frankly, i'm not too impressed, or seem to be more geared toward eth.  Anyone have a particular "love" for any new AMD cards out now for mining zec?

Sorry, but for Equihash, just get nVidia. Or switch to mining Etherum...? But if you insist on AMD, then VEGA 56 and 64 are your new only available "favorite" horses....

Is it possible to give a static linked version of the miner for Linux?

I'm using HD 7950 on Debian Jessie with Catalyst 15.12 drivers. I get this error when I try to run the v12.6 of the miner. v12.5 works without any issues.

Error:

Code:
$ ./zecminer64
./zecminer64: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21' not found (required by ./zecminer64)

Get nVidia cards Tongue Or get better HW/OS... running Claymore ZCash 24/7 on Windows without any problems. Or you can try Optiminer, but I had stability issues with it.

There's nothing wrong with AMD cards. I have a mining rig with 6 Radeon R9 380X 4GB and it runs just fine at 940 watts. nVidia cards such as the 1060 are definitely more power efficient, but they are also newer cards and cost more money to get started with. Chances are the problem was with drivers, I've always found AMDs drivers to be difficult to work and god help you if you try to run under Ubuntu. I was never able to get my rig running correctly in Linux. I also used windows 10 professional without any issues, nice and stable on Claymore 12.6 with the Crimson ReLive Edition Beta Driver Version 17.30.1029.

why my asus r9 280x (stock bios/no OC nor UV) got "gpu return incorrect data" error at first and then 'watchdog gpu hang  opencl' error in claymore miner only? i've tested with optiminer too, but everything went no problems  Huh

Try reinstalling newest drivers, or put your GPU into different mobo/cpu. Also try different riser.

Im having problems with this miner. When i am running the bat with all correct parameters the program doesn't even start it, the command windows just closes, i have no virus scanner or something that is blocking it.

Code:
:start
timeout 45
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_MAX_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_MAX_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe
goto start

The programs just resets itself, not setting pool, finding GPU's nothing. I use the claymore v10.3 for etash and that one works pretty well.

I have RX 570 4GB with bios mod and blockchain driver with pixel patcher. Any idea's?

If you had read the OP you'd know that Claymore's Zcash miner doesn't support Nvidia.

You can't mine Zcash (and similar) with nvidia. This miner is AMD only, for nvidia you should take a look at EWBF miner or dstm miner.
Cheers.

For Equihash on my Nvidia cards I used EWBF. ZClassic is probably the most profitable still. Been mining it for several weeks now.

Anyone notice that the dev fee seems to be running a bit more than normal?

If I read this correctly, it's supposed to run 90 seconds per hour? I've logged into my remote rig two times in the past 20 minutes and I've seen the dev running.

Or, am I just being paranoid?
