Ok guys so i am stuck with a seriously problem right now.
After just realising i had 0.26btc sitting in my wallet which i forgot about, my mining cards have now paid for themselves.

The problem is i haven't turned them on in over 2 weeks because nothing is profitable to my knowledge.
So what would you guys do? sell the 3 cards for roughly £200 back, and the psu for £80
or keep them and see if anyone is nice enough to start me mining in the right place again?

honestly with work etc. i don't have the time to read like i use to, and i guess i have gotten a little lazy which is why cudamining.cc hasn't had its full recoding yet.
So what would you all do honestly?

Keep going and hope for some nice hints off people or sell up and stop?

Of course, it goes way up every time when jackpot is growing. Now it is worth mining. Hop in, join us.

The next release of ccManager will cater for this dilemma. Mine on multipool when its' profitable, auto switching algos for best price. If the profit isn't good enough, then it resorts to the coin of your choice (JPC for me) OR it stops mining and waits until profit projection is suitable.

Would it be possible to set core/memory frequencies as command line arguments for ccminer?

If so, we could have some sick bat loops which would find the highest unstable OC profiles per algo for each card.

search for nvidiaInspector in this thread. you can set oc by command line and use it in your batch file.

You only need the toolkit if you want to compile.  Not for normal use.

Thx... but when I try to use it, it says it can't find the drivers;
Regular ccminer works perfectly.

I think scrypt_jane is using lots of memory but not much those used at the moment...

Make sure you are running a version >=340.52 of the nVidia drivers. Latest compiled versions of most miners require it now since the authors are ditching CUDA 5.5.

Pretty sure 1GB isn't going to work well for things like CryptoNight and probably BBR.

The wave of the future seems to be to use lots of memory to make things ASIC resistant.

I personally wouldn't buy 750 unless you get them for $90 or less with discount.  They just aren't as future proof, but that's just me.

Carlo

EDIT: PS above is a hunch but I've never tested this algos on a 750.

Why does ccminer keep crashing on me while I mine x13?? I'm using a laptop with two Nvidia gt 750m cards and I'm not even overclocking. Angry

I also have the latest driver installed by the way.

Crashing or just stopping mining?

Mining with a laptop is not really smart btw.
Double check temperatures...

It starts out fine, but then at one point it starts giving me bogus hashing rates, like these:

Temperatures don't go above 80 degrees.
I can mine cryptonight just fine, but all versions I've tried for x13 end up doing this.
