Christian, is it posible to implement X11 algo into cc miner?
from my point of view it seems simpler than it was to do it into cudaminer ...? Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

So I have one GeForce MSI 750 ti that just does not want to work with cudaminer. It crashes the drivers immediately after starting up cudaminer. The card displays just fine and is running stock. I have isolated and started the system with just the card in question in several different slots. I have removed and reinstalled the drivers several times as well. At this point Im out of ideas, so Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?

System:
ASRock H81 Pro BTC
ntel Celeron G1830
G.SKILL 4GB Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ
Windows 7
Running the newest Nvidia drivers
6 GeForce MSI 750 ti's

I have the same rig , same cpu, same board only 8gb ram and 6 evga oc 750ti. First trouble was that i couldnt get all cards up but it turned out , a bad riser . and now i am minig with no trouble. I had some crashes when i used the onboard video. I suggest you to disable it in the bios , set primary vga to pci-e and disable multiple monitors option.
Open a new cudaminer for every card , cause if one crashes, only this cudaminer crashes not the whole 6 crads. I have one card that has max memory overclock +300 and it crashed the whole system . So i keep it not overclocked. Others +80 core +400 mem.

Core 220-250 and mem 500 would be okay for mining stable with hashrate arround 297

ok lets write the core clock then , not the + ovrclock , cause it is different for all cards.
I get stable overclock of core for minig 1280-1300 and memory 3150. Grin
But this card cant make it that much , so i keep it at 1200 and mem 2750.

may-be of interest: populace coin
"Based on super secure Hash which includes six kind of Encryption Algorithm (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein)and nine round of operation, POC can be only extracted by CPU, not by Asic or Gpu, to avoid operation monopoly, Which keeps high participatory and strong security."

Populace coin, I love how sophisticated their pr strategy is:

PopulaceCoin is very good! Look forward to the future!

POC, we are optimistic about him, a lot of potential for currency

This is very good coin

This very good, I support POC

PopulaceCoin is very good coin!

Those posts have same common things, lol lol lol

All these algorithms are already done for gpu for other coins, right? Should be simple..

apparently, I didn't pay attention to that, but it already exists for gpu, as it seems to be "just" the quark algo...

How much are you guys getting with groestl?

10mh/s between my 780 and 750ti seems kinda low.

8mh/s for the 780ti (non shared memory, the one with shared memory gives 9.5mh)
Did you recompile with compute 3.5, it may-be a little faster.
Actually, this coin is really a cpu coin, my 3770 gets around 1.1mh/s (6 threads)

CBuchner:

For all. Please forgive my ignorance, but I know they have done Bayesian calculation in the BTC world; do you believe that this could be done in the Scrypt world? If so, would this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/bayesclasses/?source=dlp  help?

Within the last day or so, cudaminer has been "hanging" after mining some time. The time between accepts always varies a bit, but now it's 1,2,3, or even 10 minutes. Sometimes it resumes sometimes it doesn't Not getting any invalids, but there does seem to be some sort of error?

I'm running a 750ti factory OC + a little more.  Reducing it to stock clock doesn't seem to fix the issue.

6 minutes later it's trucking along just fine, still slower, but no errors. Runs for a minute.. same thing again for a few minutes.  Huh

groestl, as implemented now, does a massive amount of random access lookups in S-box tables derived from AES.

CPUs have a bit of an advantage due to their big data caches. So the absolute speed-up of a GPU isn't
that great. Maybe factor 10.

By the way, according to some information I got an AMD R9 290X only does around 6.5 MHash/s. Can anyone confirm this? If so, we've got another nVidia coin here.

BitLeu has just been listed on first exchange.

Let's see the pricing going up. Mine it while you still can, hehe.
Whoever screamed scam and that the dev will sell the premined on the exchange will cry now.
