Christian Buchner and ThirtyBird will have my donation of 20 000 BTL each from me for the services they did to the crypto-community.

Hi, thank you. I will have to install a BTL wallet first.

Titan Z  $2999
12GB or memory
5k+ cuda cores.

priced way out of range for consumers, even enthusiasts.

**Just announced, next gen Nvidia GPU (after Maxwell) is Pascal**

I'll grow a beard until then.

you also get double precision compute unlocked (good for numerical stuff and simulations), and a higher compute density.

A rig with 6 of these would rock, but also you could buy a car for it.

not if you submerge it in liquid nitrogen.

Well if you are willing to afford this card you probably have a tank of liquid nitrogen laying around, good to make millions of altcoins per day.

They didn't say what will be the tdp though... (4 8pin connector to power the beast... that will eliminate lots of psu at the same time...)

will come with its own capsule of plutonium (don't think it would be enough, if Voyager was requiring as much power as this card... it wouldn't have gone very far)

8mh/s for the 780ti (non shared memory, the one with shared memory gives 9.5mh)
Did you recompile with compute 3.5, it may-be a little faster.
Actually, this coin is really a cpu coin, my 3770 gets around 1.1mh/s (6 threads)

If so, we've got another nVidia coin here.

Christian

.
Someone should compile a list of cudacoins. Would be way better for the community. Mining optimized coins.

That said, can't someone make a specific coin with algos that are optimized for nVidia cards? It'd be a hoot. But we'll prolly need an engineer from nvidia to make it happen.

So the GeForce GTX Titan Z is actually a thing, and nVidia says it maintains low thermals...
only $2999 for 5760 cuda cores!
Lets all donate to a public... meh nevermind.

I'm disappointed it's basically just two Titan cores bolted together. Thought the next Titan part would be Maxwell based, meh.

what worry me is the price tag... (for a gaming card, not a pro.) This is clearly not going in the right direction...

So I have one GeForce MSI 750 ti that just does not want to work with cudaminer. It crashes the drivers immediately after starting up cudaminer. The card displays just fine and is running stock. I have isolated and started the system with just the card in question in several different slots. I have removed and reinstalled the drivers several times as well. At this point Im out of ideas, so Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?

System:
ASRock H81 Pro BTC
ntel Celeron G1830
G.SKILL 4GB Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ
Windows 7
Running the newest Nvidia drivers
6 GeForce MSI 750 ti's

Do you overlock it ? If yes, return to default then start again.I'm mining with 750Ti good
I have the same rig , same cpu, same board only 8gb ram and 6 evga oc 750ti. First trouble was that i couldnt get all cards up but it turned out , a bad riser . and now i am minig with no trouble. I had some crashes when i used the onboard video. I suggest you to disable it in the bios , set primary vga to pci-e and disable multiple monitors option.
Open a new cudaminer for every card , cause if one crashes, only this cudaminer crashes not the whole 6 crads. I have one card that has max memory overclock +300 and it crashed the whole system . So i keep it not overclocked. Others +80 core +400 mem.

I will try to change the riser and disable on board video although I dont suspect that is the problem considering this is the only card having an issue. Like I said in the OP I dont have the cards OC at the moment Im just trying to get them to run at the stock settings.

Atrides & me found a fix (well, he came up with it, I just found another spot which has to be fixed ^^) for ccminer 0.3 to work with dwarfpool for GroestlCoin:

stratum works now on http://dwarfpool.com/grs Smiley Have fun & join the boat ^^

i done  to the instructions, and compiled it, but i got no shares accepted?

thanks for the above fixes!

I've posted a v0.4 release. Stratum seems to work for me. https://github.com/cbuchner1/ccminer/releases/tag/v0.4

Here's how I pool-mine:

ccminer.exe -q -a groestl -o stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3345  -u FcPdoV3QQbrAHiPs9M9XXAxT2Bv4SzB7PQ.1 -p x

Code:
[2014-03-24 22:54:00] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3345
[2014-03-24 22:54:00] 4 miner threads started, using 'groestl' algorithm.
