Would someone mind giving me an example bat file for using ccminer for Heavycoin?

I have two GTX 660 ti GPUs and I'm using this for each:

GPU0:

ccminer.exe -t 1 -a heavy -d 0 -o stratum+tcp://stratum01.heavycoinpool.com:5333 -u username.workername -p workerpassword -v 512

GPU1:

ccminer.exe -t 1 -a heavy -d 1 -o stratum+tcp://stratum01.heavycoinpool.com:5333 -u username.workername -p workerpassword -v 512

I think I may be missing something as ccminer is not starting.  If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

In the 0.5 release, the app uses different names to differentiate between the flavors of cuda. You must specify which one to use, ccminer20.exe, ccminer30.exe, and ccminer35.exe.

Haha, glad it worked. Was just experimenting since my 6 750Tis weren't doing so hot compared to my x3 and x4 rigs. Splitting them up solved it.  Also, when you have 2 or more cmd prompts open you should minimize them and you'll get even more(at least i did).

Hrmmmm, that did improve things. Weird because I tried 4 ccminer windows and it was about the same as one, but 2 improves it. Strangeness.

Hello. I am trying to compile the 2 28 2014 release fo CudaMiner, on xubuntu 12.10 but I am getting an error. I have been looking for hours at this point for a solution, but I have yet to find one.  Here is what is happening:

root@arren-mining:/home/arren/cuda-extract/cudaminer-2014-02-28/cudaminer-src-2014.02.28# ./autogen.sh && ./configure && make
./autogen.sh: line 1: $'autoconf\r': command not found
root@arren-mining:/home/arren/cuda-extract/cudaminer-2014-02-28/cudaminer-src-2014.02.28#

I have looked in the autogen.sh file and cannot find the command it is referring to.  Any help?

Anyone having trouble with hvy.1gh.com?

The first 25 units work fine, but then everything after that is a 'boooooo'.

The same setup just with the different wallet settings works fine at heavycoin.com

ccminer35.exe -t 1 -a heavy -o stratum+tcp://stratum01.heavycoinpool.com:5333 -u login.worker -p password -v 512 -d 0,1 -q

ccminer35.exe -t 1 -a heavy -o stratum+tcp://hvcpool.1gh.com:5333 -u wallet -p x -v 512 -d 0,1 -q

C:\mining\ccminer-v0.5\x86>ccminer35.exe -a heavy -o stratum+tcp://hvcpool.1gh.c
om:5333 -u WALLET -p x -v 512 -q

Execute this in a terminal:

    sudo apt-get install automake

This should install automake and its dependencies, which include autoconf. This does not include gcc, CUDA toolkit, or other libraries which you may need. You did not specify whether you followed the README.txt guide that directed you to install those dependencies so I have omitted them.

Just realized that I posted that capture from 1gh with a modification to the string... was playing with removing the -t (threads)... tried removing the command, and -t 1, as well as trying different combinations of -d 0,1 ... tried different processors, as well as using different pairs and removing -d completely.

Nothing changes the output.

The heavycoin setup works fine with a separate CMD window for each pair of cards I am pulling 46,800 Mhash/s.

So everything seems to be working just fine, just not on 1gh.

thanks

Thanks

Yes - does this all the time to me. If you close the instance, then restart within a few seconds (I close it, count to three and re-launch) it always fixes this for me. Sometimes it takes three or four tries, but it has always worked.

root@arren-mining:/home/arren/cuda-extract/cudaminer-2014-02-28/cudaminer-src-2014.02.28# ./autogen.sh && ./configure && make
./autogen.sh: line 1: $'autoconf\r': command not found
root@arren-mining:/home/arren/cuda-extract/cudaminer-2014-02-28/cudaminer-src-2014.02.28#

Execute this in a terminal:

    sudo apt-get install automake

This should install automake and its dependencies, which include autoconf. This does not include gcc, CUDA toolkit, or other libraries which you may need. You did not specify whether you followed the README.txt guide that directed you to install those dependencies so I have omitted them.
s

I did read the README.txt and have followed it as far as I am able. I have already installed all of those dependencies.  I have even uninstalled and reinstalled automake, but that is after all of that. I have CUDA toolkit V. 5.5 and gcc V. 4.4.7

Is anyone else mining MaxCon with a 750ti?

I'm having some difficulty in find settings that don't give just "boo!" all the time.

The settings I've tried are the keccak ones mentioned in the main post in the below link as well as in the comments, all to no avail...

http://cryptomining-blog.com/944-testing-geforce-gtx-750-ti-maxwell-for-alt-crypto-mining-with-cudaminer/

-a keccak -i 0 -l K1000x24 -C 1 -H 0

The card isn't overclocked and I can mine Fugue, Yac, Heavy and plan old scrypt coins just fine.

Any help will be much appreaciated Smiley

Sorry so late, just got back from work. Here is my bat: cudaminer --algo=keccak -i 0 -l T1024x24 -C 2 -L 1024 -m 1

I have core at +130 and memory +525. Getting 162,300 kh/s. I can't remember my best settings that I had. Should have wrote them down.

But hope this gets you closer.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Anyone having trouble with hvy.1gh.com?

The first 25 units work fine, but then everything after that is a 'boooooo'...

I had the same problem at 1gh and like DougB62 just restarted ccminer35 a few times until it worked. Christian and others have mentioned that the pool was having some difficulties. I've been running at 1gh for several hours now without any strings of boos.

Thanks

Close and start again in short intervals until vardiff stops being drunk and goes home.
Takes me 2-3 attempts at worst but I've found that if you leave it alone and just wait through all the boooos, it fixes itself eventually.

^ This. 1gh's stratum implement is fragile. Restarting ccminer a couple times should do the trick. I've also found that it'll autocorrect after a few minutes.
