Hey djm,

I haven't forgot. I still have some Ripo for you when you get the wallet. Just waiting for an address to send.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Re Burst:

I just want to state that I don't like the coin elther. Who the hell wants to waste huge amount of storage for no good...? I waited a few weeks before getting into Burst cuz of hestitations of the concept. But three or four things actually got me into it:

- I already had the hardware, and the hardward requires very little power resources. Under those conceptions, it's cheap in to ways, basically  Grin
- The dev is really active, and this has also generared a very active community. While dev concentrate on the main things (updated nxt code, trying to build a GPU ploter, etc.), the community has take a number of independent initative (multipools, faucets, FAQ, homepage, etc), mostly without bounties.
- Its profitible. Atleast if you have the hardware as I do, it's like free money. And this in a time when profit margin's for GPU mining are less to nothing. For the first time since February I have turned off my GPUs. But, frankly, I make money, and quite nicely so, way more than with GPU's. However, the network is growing so it will most probable be less profit in the future, as the price likely wont rise.

Ofc there are a number arguments you can make for not getting in, some indicated above.

This isn't the Burst thread so I'll wont write more about it, but as someone before me I'll also offer 5K Burst for a GPU miner for Burst working on 750TI --- given that it's stable, considerable faster than a high-end CPU (say a modern I7'n), and no one already published an equalant program before. If there are interest in this, I can add more to the bount and I hope other will join in.

It is free money as long as you have the drives...
I usually buy new drive when I need one
I bought one few weeks ago... but it is to write other kind of crap on it... (and no way I delete the content of some other drives)...

I have 2 x 256 GB SSD's and a 2 TB SSHD and half of them are empty so I don't need storage either, but there's a very high probability that the drives I've ordered will ROI and could come handy when the next storage coin comes because I'm pretty sure there's more to come.

Please consider joining a pool instead, it's very hard to find a block solomining any more. It can take several days or weeks. On the pools you will know a submitted share actually will give you some burst.

Please recommend Smiley i have over 100GB of stored cache but im unsure how that works moving over to pools

so ive signed up to http://178.62.39.204:8121/, well followed the instructions on setting up the miner
plot wise it says it will use my local plots so i have moved those to the folder for the pool miner, and i believe i would generate them like you would solo mining but in the pool folder?

For example right now i have a nonce for 1, 100001, 200001

i am currently generating the nonce for 300001, yet the pool keeps checking 300001 over and over and saying no valid shares to submit

it doesnt seem to be looking at the others which i generated during solomining even though their in the same folder. any ideas?

i tried mining on official and unofficial pool. The official pool payout is very bad due to minimum deadline
