I already ordered 980 , replacing 2pcs of AMD 280X. I think its better choise than 970 because of the count of the cuda cores ...
which is small... as I already said...
Compare to the estimation based a few month ago, the 980 lost 500cores and gain 50-100euros
(so far, I didn't see much sell offer...), I saw one at 640euros (and just a second at 540... waiting for amazon and their return policy... just in case...)

that's what I was saying yesterday, the mining review is usually strange...
X11 seems rather okay compared to my 780ti around 6MH/s (scrypt... might be a bit underestimated...)
Whirlpool... either I forgot to update my github and I did a really really good job at optimizing  Grin (might be true though... but not that much... beginning of last week, I had 50% of whirlcoin net hashrate  Grin), but the 780ti does around 18MH/s so the 12MH/s looks small...
Now there is huge bottleneck for the 750ti, but it should be at least 15MH/s (if it scales properly....)

might still buy 2 for sli...

Haha, So miners should buy 750Ti and gamers 980?
is that different between maxwell 1.0 & 2.0?is that both use cuda compute 50?

there is the 970, which is better than both

personally density it too important
then why do you choose the less powerful card ? and smaller density ?

BTC is either in serious manipulation (big whales trying to dump and buy at low price for months, they probably did this by buying ASIC (millions of dollar worth of ASIC) and dump mine coin to bring down the price) or BTC is going to stay below $500 for a very long time.
i think your right on with the mega ASICs I thought this would happen at this time because of the new ASICs and the timing of there release.

Is the 750ti expected to dropp in prize with the introduction of the 9xx series? Anyone seen any indication of that?

Why it should have the price reduced?

750Ti belongs to another mkt...entry level vs the high end/enthusiastic gamer 980GTX, I think there´s no price correlation between them.

Cheers

+1 (actually, even the 780ti shouldn't get any discount... on a side not, there are TitanZ oem for 2000euros, which actually is a 1000euros discount  Grin buy a new pc with a TitanZ and get 8~9 750ti with the difference  Grin)

If I am to buy the GTX 970 off newegg right now, should I use FIAT or BTC as the payment. BTC being so low right now means id have to use more of it then usual to pay right, so I should use FIAT? Wanted your advice, to make sure I'm understanding it correctly

It all depends on what you think regarding the future price of bitcoin. Some says it will bounce back in which case it would be a shame to sell it now and of course some voices are preaching the end of bitcoin as they always do, which of course means you should get rid of bitcoins. I, for one would rather go down with the ship than kick myself later if it blows up for some reason.

Not your keys, not your coins!

Yep - you're understanding correctly. This is not a good time to buy with btc - I personally would use Fiat. Not a bad time time to buy btc with Fiat, imo.

thanks for the support everyone. i intend to be completely open with anything the website earns (i don't think that's again the rules)

here is a proposed add layout
http://oi60.tinypic.com/w5myv.jpg

my adsense has been accepted so i will add one and see how it works

Don't talk about Adsense earnings. Google will play fuckery with you.
I could sing a song about it Tongue
Seriously, if you can, stay away from Google AdSense. Your really lucky if you get paid out.

In the past I have made thousands with Adsense but they slowly sanctioned me for stupid shit. Here is one example: I have a script that automatically pulls content from YouTube and publishes it on a blog. Fuckers banned the site for posting a video that was a copyright violation. In the meantime the video was still there with adsense ads on it making money for both Google and the copyright violator. They did not ban my entire account, just that site. You never know with these guys. I hardly make a cent with them now.

Jump you fuckers! | The thing about smart motherfuckers is they sound like crazy motherfuckers to dumb motherfuckers. | My sig space for rent for 0.01 btc per week.

thanks for the heads up. i approached nvidia directly to see if they wanted sponsor space.
They said that they current have only a few websites advertise them directly and if one stops or they need more space then they will message me.

So for now adsense is running, and is now live.  I guess we will see how it does.... i'm not expecting anything good from it though xD
