I have recently been playing with that site and noticed a couple things.  The micro site itself is looking great and I like the way that faucet micros seem to be adding a lot more to make themselves more useful and attractive, the level systems and such.

On the other side of the coin is the fact that the faucets are going down hill very quickly.  There are a few that use one of the standard scripts, but there are more and more that are implementing three to four levels of link shorteners

And a bunch of other crap and then the odds are about 50/50 that end of the line will actually be a working faucet with a balance. Lets face it as a fact i think.

There is one thing, putting a single shortener in there and some ads, but some of these guys go way too far and the fact is that they won't go long before the shortener bans them, or the faucet site.

RE Your Latest news. It might be a good idea to suggest to the people who can't link their address to get another address from their wallet and use the new one with all of their faucets. This will allow them to link the new address and prevent the person who linked the address from getting any benefit from doing so.

No worries, there haven't been any users who didn't know where/how to get a new address.
Even there's someone who doesn't know, there's our own address system, where we provide them with all the coin address we host on the site Smiley

This seems very nice. I am about to create my own faucet and will use your API for the payments. I have a question though, let's say i use API and user gains enough money to cashout, then they will have to cashout through your system though, i mean it's not processed manually and i can't process it through API?

Also will any other coins be added? Ripple, Ethereum for example?

Hi,

other coins will be added in the future, yes, but not sure which ones. We'll see.

You're the one deciding what's the min/max amount your user can withdraw through the API to faucethub.
This isn't done manually (but it can be, if you wanted to)

It looks really nice, good job!
I tried it out already and sold all my altcoins for BTC in a matter of few minutes. You're developing a better platform day by day, keep it up man

There's going to be a 2-way transaction system in the future, if that's what you mean by "off chain"?

Glad you guys like it

Will it be something similar like Xapo to Xapo or Coinbase to Coinbase transfers?
And exchange really looks cool. When Faucetbox closed, I thought it will be really hard to replace them, but now I'm really happy to see that Faucethub already become more than a microwallet.

Yes, it'll be kind of similar to those 2 services. API transactions.

First option is going to be "deposit with FH", which gives the users an option to deposit using their FH balance to X or Y FOs account, which sends a callback to their site and finalizes the internal tx.

2nd option provides them a deposit address so they can take payments from non-FH users instantly (something like bitpay)

You could probably write an api that automatically buys coins on poloniex at the current price and then sends BTC back with the daily payment.  As long as more people want to use their 50k sats from pokebits to buy dogecoin then are selling, someone is going to have to arbitrage.  If it isn't you, orders are going to sit around until the coinmarket cap price goes up.

I made a comment about the fee for cancelled orders in the trollbox and feel I was misunderstood.  I want faucethub to collect fees.  I just don't think that the cancelled order fee maximizes the total fees collected.  Just like every other economic decision, there is an opportunity cost of lost profits somewhere else.  More fees are collected from a completed trade then a cancelled trade.  The cancel order fee discourages people from placing large buy orders because of the possibility that it won't fill in a reasonable amount of time.  Because fees are collected from both buyer and seller, each of these discouraged trades would have generated more fees if they were filled then if they were placed and then cancelled.

^ FH isn't an exchange. I might do more stuff on top of it, but not yet.

I'm trying to solve an issue by making it as simple possible.
I don't want people arbing FH to other exchanges. There's a deposit and withdraw fee.

Mex would you guys consider to integrate mellowads as a withdrawal option for faucet owners. they have instant, zero fees transfer for  ̶e̶p̶a̶y̶, xapo & faucet system. on first place must be faucethub.
