Vi and Vout looks ok, so the PMU is not the problem.

What is your hashrate?
It looks like one or two hashboards are having some kind of problem.

You should open a ticket at Caanan and post the log there.

Update:

What voltage offset are you using? Please try with -1 or even -2.

Please check your temperatures, 42 degress C at input is a lot, maybe it's overheating ! Fans are at 100%, this is not normal.
Temp[42]
    TMax[95]
    Fan[5760]
    FanR[100%]

my voltage offset is 0. what does it actually do?
so what does the safe temp for in and out? is it below 40 for in?
and below 95 for out?

-2 lowest hash rate with least power used.
-1 more hash rate with more power used
0  even more hash rate with more power used
+1 most hash rate with most power used

no one does +1  with good results

0  can be done in a cool room with  a very good psu

-1 is good if you are running hot
-2 is good with a shitty psu.

I mine alt coins with https://simplemining.net...
I see BTC as the super highway and alt coins as taxis and trucks needed to move transactions.

Hi Philip,

so what is the offset that is good for EVGA Supernova 1200 P2 ?
and also for EVGA Supernova 1300 G2 ?

I'll see what I could do with that high temp. what is the good ambient temp ?

Thanks

For your ambient temp the cooler the better, within reason You don't want to go below -5. This means the miner and it's fans work less. Ideally you want to be getting the exhaust from the miners out of the space, and bring in ambient air from elsewhere. The specs for the Avalon say between -5 and 40 degrees I believe.

all my evga psus struggle with s-9's and with avalon 6's.

so I would set to -2

and really try to get the intake under 38

So set your  fan to 40%  not 10%

it will never drop under 40% so you are good with the 40% setting. Most likely it will ramp to 78% or so.

This is not here in the U.S. but that is a crazy price.
A lot has to do with what bitcoin is worth right now, so price goes up on equipment.

They are listed on the Canaan site as an official distributor, but I think the current price is based on them operating as a reseller still. Not sure how things will play out in the future if they will match what minerwarez sells at.

I have heard that Canaan has set what price their distributors get to sell the 741's at.

I think this email conveniently floated out to a lot of people, I recall it saying the numbers are not exact, but it's enough to get me excited. They do know how to create a buzz that's for sure

Does anyone know what is

CRC [0 0 678 0] means in Avalon CGMiner API Log?
some all 0.

also what is ECHU [0 0 512 0]
also some miner all 0

and ECMM [2]
some miner 0

Thank you.

looks like a bad hashing board.
Please post the entire log or at least the Vi,Vo,MW values..

so the echu is the hash board.
what about the ecmm and CRC ?

I'm just wondering why my miner could restart itself randomly. sometimes 15 mins. sometimes a couple hours and sometimes a day or so.
I'm trying to figure out which part is the problem.

Thanks
My miner had a simiular problem, would heat up 100 deg C in a few minutes and then restart, but I noticed the fan was put on the wrong way around, changed it and now it seems to work better.

UPDATES:

Good Day ,

As many of you know, we are sold out of Avalon 741 for all of 2017. The inventory we have has been allocated to existing and new accounts. I do hold a small reserve for December, but only enough to start a few select new customers.  I also have some 741 product in January that I have to allocate. We are currently in the process of ramping up a distribution channel for smaller customers: I have added their names here:  https://canaan.io/official-distributors/ . I will be adding more in the coming months. If you would like to be considered, please write to disty@canaan.io.  Distributors are responsible for serving customers who cannot meet our Minimum Order Quantity, which is currently set at 60 units.

While we have been going over our backlog, I took the time to revamp the order process in the store and automate some of the shipping process. We will be testing this over the next month. I've also changed the ticket system so that sales requests will not clutter it up. We reserve the ticket system for customer RMA issues and technical issues.  On every product page you will also see a form for "Enquiry". My goal is to keep sales related questions out of the ticket system. So please use that or sales@canaan.io to ask sales related questions.

I added some special emails for customers that relate to specific issues: If you have a question about distribution there is a disty@canaan.io address. If you have a question about shipping: shipping@canaan.io. We hope this keeps conversations out of the ticket system, so that only tech support related issues are handled there. I've also hired two new sales associates so that we can handle a higher number of orders and will be adding staff in shipping and tech support.

I've also added an information page  https://canaan.io/information/  There you will find important emails and links to information about our company, like the address and maps. To all of you who came to visit me, I really appreciate the effort and hope we can your demands.

I have also totally rebuilt the order process : https://canaan.io/order-process/  The flood of orders we got in Sept and August quickly exposed weakness in the system, so I've spent the last few weeks implementing a system that will be easier for the customer and easier for the new staff. You should receive mails at every stage of the order process, telling you exactly where you are in the process. We will be testing this during November.

New Product:  In 2018 we plan to have a new product, based on new silicon. Many of you have asked for specifications and pricing and exact shipdates. My policy is to wait until our reliability testing is complete before releasing any details, if you need some performance numbers to do a forecast, just use 14 Terahash and 1300 Watts. Please note, this is not the official specification, but you can use it for planning.  I will update you later and take revised forecasts at that time.

The forecast: I am asking you to forecast your demand for the next 4 months, starting in December. Do not make the mistake of thinking that a request for a December forecast means that the new product will ship then. The same goes for the other months. Also, don't make the mistake of over forecasting, as your allocation will be a function of  your forecast reliability. If you forecast 1000 and only order 60, your numerical score will drop and decrease your future allocation.

Finally,  this forecast is for your  MINING only. Some of you operate businesses where you Resell (Physically Ship to customers).  That forecast is different from this one. I have already contacted distributors for their forecast. This forecast is for Mining operations ONLY.

Finally, if you are on the waiting list, please do a forecast as the waitlist does not cover your demand into 2018.

Thanks,
Steve

Hold your horses man, that one is a pretty long while away in any case. Besides, thats their "target". They said they haven't been able to properly test it to see if it will come close to that number yet. Besides, I highly doubt the S9s will be Bitmain's newest model for long. Its pretty much a year old at this point.

It would be great if a European distributor - import duties are absolutely crippling!

Unless the new self-courier service from minerwarez has some scope to "ease" the import tax value

Made you look!
