If you put half as much effort into making a good scam board as you did into making the software, your scam would be so much more effective. Why are you guys so lazy?

So, I got the posting privileges and I just wanted to ask you why the hell are you even debating anything, when they are obviously located in "Tripoli - Lebanon".

And what does that mean?

CedarTec do not despair dealing with these idiots.
But you need to answer some valid questions and remove any doubts by further clearing things.

What we need:
-Better resolution well lit images
-More professional video, including well lit pcb and a duration of continuous mining
-PUBLIC STATS, highly important, use eligius.st and publish the address you used to mine
-We would also like to know who is the team and a bit more history

And what does that mean?

Jesus Christ. Don't people learn geography anymore?

Tripoli is, and has always been, in Libya.

They might've moved it to Lebanon recently, but I think we'd hear about it.

I know geography, what are you implying is what i meant.

But ofcourse i know what your implying you racist bigot.
Intelligence is not geographically impaired.

Wow. "Racist bigot"?

You are seeing "things", it seems.

You need your head examined. As soon as possible.

e: seems like I need to have my head examined after all, I came to conclusions too quickly, whoops Smiley

Disclosure, i do have an order with them

Confirmation:

6.20 ฿ - 08.04.2013 02:41

Your order number:

#008X - Shipment: 14th - 18th may 2013

So i do have a vested interest in wanting them to be for real.
Im waiting on further proof to put in more orders,
the video they posted does seem valid for what they have shown
but is not enough to prove they have a functional asic.

Apparently they are still tweaking the device to achieve the target 80gh/s
Im trying to push them into using eligius so we can have public stats,
altho acquiring 65-80gh/s of mining equipment to spoof it would not be too hard
It would be enough for me, its not like they are charging 75btc per unit.

Dear customers,
as you can see we are using voltage regulators
and diodes on the pcb.
It is no problem to provide the needed voltages.
With best regards,
Your CedarTec Team.
diodes are important, it's good you have some of those.
Can you take a couple closeup pictures of the ASICs on that board?
Thanks
Strange that you are the only one here that has more than 10 posts and did not just join to "find" this thread.

I call scam too. Show your face, let us know who you are, your public social network profile. Be proud of your work, I mean you've undertaken and succeeded in revolutionising an industry and you want to hide yourself. Have you any idea employment potential you supposedly now have? Hell your specialist in demand knowledge now grants you a Visa in any country of your choosing! I don't care if the lights are green, red, blue or yellow, just discuss the iterative process it took for you to come to this stage and why you've bitten your tongue so long.

I've designed and engineered products before. I studied the subject in university. I could bore you sh**less with my designs as could any designer/engineer.

Most of the knowledgable people on this forum could talk you to sleep if you stumbled on a subject of their expertise, so come on my Lebanese whiz kid with a European accent; tell us and demonstrate with your finished product' everything that you know about designing ASICS as opposed to web design!...

Oh and FFS at least get your parter in crime in the background to hold your iPhone for you when videoing. Even better borrow a camera. I mean surely you want to demonstrate the fruits of your labour in the best way possible. I'd hate for people to assume your shoddy camerawork was to hide your deceit.

I expect a better video with more attention on the red and green lights!

Make my day! Say thanks if you found me helpful Smiley BTC Address --->

vhdl and asic design is not something that is a new technology.

its only taking the processes of sha 256 and converting it into vhdl,
ofcourse its not only that, but if you are good at programming it shouldn't be hard for you to make an asic design
anyone can learn vhdl and asic engineering
in the future, circuit making and asic design will be as common as programming
im working on a collaborative platform for that and more called ProjXverse

I'm not claiming ASICs are new tech but cryptocurrencies are the application of ASICs in the development of cryptocurrencies is revolutionary. A unique specialist skill that potentially opens the world to this supposed engineer whilst few are knowledgable. A highly employable trait for now. But to have undertaken the iterative process to bring a product to market that kid should be able to talk me sleepy about how he got there, individual components, mistakes he made along the way and how he overcame them.

He can't, because it ain't real and he's never done it.

Though the web interface and the shout of 'yalla' in the background at the beginning were both nice touches. And he's bold opening it up to a forum for scrutiny. Other bs sites like asicrigs.com, don't go to those lengths. They just slap a poor photoshop and bitcoin payment cart together. So props for effort.

As we know the domain was registered 23 March.

The wayback machine goes back to 28 March. Same web page.

http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.cedartec.net/

The news section on the website says the website was published in Feb, which is inconsistent.

The news section on the website says the website was published in Feb, which is inconsistent.

They also then said they had it set up since feb but only available through an ip address.
