yawn.

If they're a legit business, how about they give us their full business details?

Business registration/ Chamber of commerce number /pĥone number/bank account number etc.

I mean... all their setup is based on anonymity, hardly a way to raise confidence. Also, they seem to have an ASIC capable of delivering 8GH/s per chip, that's more than 30x what an Avalon can do and they're selling it for close to 1/10th the price...

There is seriously someone who thinks they're legit (apart from anonymousg64 and ionstorm)?

Even they don't REALLY think it's legit... just a case of more $ than ¢.

besides this shit, where can I get an ASIC within a month, tired of waiting for BFL to ship my order
just buy  some 7970
that would be a scam, lol, I'd have to buy 3 of them at 4btc a piece and only getting 1800mh/s making 8 dollars a day, lmao

edit: gpu mining bitcoins will die this year, even mining litecoin isnt that profitable, asics is where its at, and its crazy nobody is selling them for a good price point, if cedartec was real, 999 for 80,000mh/s is a deal
3x7970 are at least 2100megahash

and  unless your electricity is 0.50 usd, it's still profitable,

and anyway it's still better than waiting for a scam , ops i mean bfl...

Yes as in very late/ early morning...for a Lebanese located company. They must be burning the midnight oil in tune with their Chinese manufacturers, and all the staff they have located there - the consummate professionals they are! Roll Eyes

Still we can expect a decent picture of some Lebanese and Chinese guys working together as proof. Be a piee of piss for them to provide seeing as they are physically located there and awake at the same time, plus Cedertec all have iPhone's you know (and bad photoshop skillz).

Lol, that's a bit like asking when we can officially call the existence of God a scam.  When all hope is lost.

Look, basically the entire point is they won't admit anything as they want to keep their site and payments live. They are advertising in other forums aside this and naive idiots are omnipresent.

$1,000 + a day is not bad monies when you have nothing to show for it.

I requested to CedarTec for refunding, due change in shipment date, 18 hours ago. I wrote my bitcoin address in the message, but there is not response still. In 6 hours, it will lapse 24 hours since I sent them the message. It will confirm the SCAM.

They need to update the first post and their website with updated shipping information, refund me and anyone who asks and provide some more information on their product and the issues they are having.  They need to build some respect in the community, right now their reputation is pretty bad, if they are for real I hope this improves and that they are a bit less secretive about themselves and their manufacturer.  Honestly, the best thing they could do at this point is possibly open source their board or provide some correspondence between them and manufacturers to prove that they are actually working on something.

It wouldnt take very long for someone to come up with a different type of asic board and write up a webgui that looks real, also they should consider shipping some demo units to some respectable members or a site like coding in my sleep for a teardown and review.  Anything is possible right now, they could be a scammer or a legit small group of people in over their heads, they themselves said wait for proof before ordering, that does not make them any less a scammer but it does give us something to think about.  Lets wait for them to prove themselves, keep your bitcoin on the ready and we'll see what happens.  If anything that this proves, it proves that their needs to be an affordable asic available to buy that has decent ROI/profits and proves that BFL and avalon could be producing machines that are much cheaper.  I ordered 64 chips from steamboat in hopes I get a DIY asic, but even them the wait time could be around the same as waiting for a BFL asic.  If they are struggling and are legit I appologize for being a dick and suggesting that they are a scammer, just wish they were more transparent.

It's understandable you want your money back.

It's a scam.

if they dont refund him and me this is definitely a scam, and have this topic closed, then we should work on getting their site shut down
