Here is a proposition for CedarTec make it to any position in the top 25 of BTCGuild teams https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=rankings§ion=teamsand thats it, validated. It should not be hard, there are 14 positions you could easily claim between 22Gh/s and 83Gh/s Just create a team called CedarTec or the alternative option if you cannot mine constantly due to other team members needing the prototype set them up to test it on eligius.st, so we can see some activity spikes feel free to mine on my address, i need to collect my commishenez: 17DgDs9e1tsgT1t8yzaYpuMPBjim1rhETT

I do think there are timing issues and priority issues, ive been trying to get them to mine on publicly verifiable pool for a while now. Was the same issue with the video, had nag them for a while.

People have been asking them to show a worker name for as long as they've been asking for video. The difference is that a crappy video is easier to fake than pool stats...

After reading all the posts in here... jesus christ my head. Bitcoinorama and a few others seems to be the only ones with the most common sense in this thread. The refund offer, is the oldest trick in the book. Seriously. Offer one guy a refund. Give it to him if he asks for it. And then that guy will confirm with everyone else, "oh yeah they gave me back my money. They're legit guys". And now hundreds more start placing their orders, thinking they can also just get a refund anytime. They've already gotten at least $150K. Scarifying a few hundreds to lure in potentially thousands more is just a smart move on their part. This move works even better if the customer is a hi-rep bitcointalk member. My advice to everyone: WAIT FOR SOLID PROOF before ordering. You lose little to nothing by waiting. But probably my words and others will have little to no effect on those who really want to order. Greed, stupidity and fear is just that powerful. Three great forces rule the world: stupidity, fear and greed. --Albert Einstein Even better for them than refunds would be to send a couple of beta, working ASICs out, then reap in the orders that follow without ever delivering them...oh wait, that's already been done.

its possible their demo unit is unable to sustain mining for long and crashes, maybe this is why they have not used any stats, still waiting on my refund, we'll see how legitimate they are if they issue the refund

If that's the case, then they were still misleading people with their video and claims that it's a functional unit. If it can't mine for more than a few minutes at a time, how in the HELL did they justify a claim that they would be shipping within 2 weeks of their fake video?
