Of course he can. My GTX 970 G1 Gaming does 310-320 Sol's with a stable OC.

What are your settings ?

Mine does 280 sol/s with those settings :

GPU Core Clock : 1480 Mhz
GPU Memory Clock : 1502 Mhz
VDCC : 1.2060 V

I can't overclock RAM, I don't know why...

255/260W at the wall.

How exactly can I find this out?
I have an EVGA GTX 970.

What hash rate and power consumption would you consider nice for GTX 980Ti on Zcash mining?

Just started and getting about 240 Sol/s on:

  • GeForce GTX 970 with 4GB
  • Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
  • 8GB RAM
  • Intel i5-4690K @ 3.5GHz

Performance:

GPU-Z status:

Lots to learn about this still, but managed to get going on the https://zec.suprnova.cc Asian pool. Let's see how we do.

I'm using Jaxx for my ZCash wallet - any other suggestions?

EDIT: Not sure how to get my image to display as a picture and not a URL.

If you could lower your gpu temp, you could get over 300 Sol/s.
He could not. GTX 1060 do around 300, and GTX970 is slower. GTX1060 is like GTX980.

Of course he can. My GTX 970 G1 Gaming does 310-320 Sol's with a stable OC.

I think the core is 1572Mhz and memory is around 2000Mhz

i have a 1050 platinum psu so i think power is not a problem

im running my 1070s at 85% power  core clock plus 76 mem clock +500

been mining for weeks with 2 1070s with that settings
now when i added a 3rd card one only mines at 300-350 sol

If you switch the 300 with a good one, is it always the same GPU with low sol ?
or if you run only that gpu does it still do only 300?

Probably a pretty dumb question, but I'm new to mining.

I was using Nicehash for selling my hash, and thus only needed a BTC wallet since they pay in BTC. If I use this miner, I have to get a ZCash wallet and do the conversions myself yes?

If you want BTC then you have to use some exchange(I use Bittrex) to convert your ZCash.

If you point the miner at the nicehash pools you will continue to get paid in BTC.  Its only if you mine to a normal ZEC pool that you will need to exchange if you want BTC.

Yes you can, just not using their software.  The info you need is on there site to setup your configuration.

Poor performance in GTX 760.
only 56 Sol/s

Windows 7 Pro 64bits
Geforce 382.33 (lastest)
miner 0.3.3b

My specific GPU: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/b2124/evga-gtx-760-sc-w-acx-cooler
(overclocked and undervolted)

It was very close to GTX 750 TI, and GTX 760 has far better performance.
