I like to keep power at 75% or less, but depending on your power cost, perhaps efficiency is less a concern for you than Sol? Also, I have found that even when setting a power limit of 75%, sometimes that actual power usage is quite a bit higher, especially with 1080Ti's with dual 8-pin connectors. My Zotac Arcticstorm is a power hog. I have mine set at 68% but it actually consumes 73%.
But it looks like you have already played around with your settings quite a bit. One question, did you unlock temp limit from power limit?
yes, i've played a lot with settings but it is getting unstable very fast. efficiency is very important for me, more than sol. temp is unlocked from tdp on all cards. on that 1060 with 3g i fixed fan to 75% - so it is same 'cold' as that with 6g. on long runs i get about 0.3% rejected shares - is that normal value ?

here some new tweaks ... i set tdp on all devices somethink between 50 and 70: nearly 200watt off seems to be a good result teaking it with this webinterface is much more easy. rx480 is now running at 50% tdp also. hashrate even the same 266sol thanks and brgds mcc

Glad you got it working! Are you running Afterburner? If so, what are your settings for each card?
Are you using risers? That one 1060 is running a little hot and I would think you should be able to get better efficiency out of your cards than that. Thanks for showing that interesting mix of cards in one rig. On the surface it looks like the 1060 3GB card is perhaps the least desirable card to use with this miner.
there is also one rx480 in this rig, but it doesn't matter. following config with afterburner (beta16) 1080ticore+ 40 = 1822 mem stock (micron) = 5022 power 78% What 1080 Ti do you have ?

I got 3 rigs going and figured I'd share my Sol rates. Rig 1 - 6x EVGA 1080Ti OC Gamer's Black Edition Rig 2 - 1x Zotac 1080Ti ArticStorm (water cooled) 1x EVGA 1070 Overclocked edition Rig 3 - 1x Nvidia 1070 FE http://www.cstone.net/~dk/EWBF-stats.PNGThank you very much for that post. I will do the same today or tomorrow. What are your power settings on those air-cooled 1080 TIs? What is the wattage of your PSU? I have noticed your setup including the server room in another thread already, great to see people who are willing to share and think in bigger pictures, including solar power. Keep up the good work!

He answered: I have set the solver control to 0, and the power to 70 and it works. And 16GB virtual memory The speed is slow to limit it to 70, but at least it works Hi, in rig 1 you do not have problems of mining zero soles? I have 5 1080ti ( 4 MSI gaming X and 1 Gigabyte Aorus) without overlocking and I have many problems, but only with ewbf, with the other mining programs do not. What sources of power PSU do you have? and how have you distributed the risers and gpus in them? Do the risers have them connected directly to molex? or with sata-molex adapter? What nvidia drivers do you use? Do you have the built-in motherboard gpu turned off or on? how do you have the afterburner set? Answer me if you can at all to know what my problem may be. Thx!! Hi, i just started mining today. Got 4x 1080 with a total 1.9k Sol/s hash rate showing on EWBF. But flypool showing only 100H/s and nano pool showing a 200Sol/s.. May i know what's the issue?
The stats increase gradually over a 24 hr. period.

Hello all, new to this and downloaded Zcash miner today to my windows 7 Probook 6570b laptop which has an intel HD Graphics 4000 card on the board. I did everything that was instructed but can't get the miner to run. Any suggestions?
thanks,
I don't think Intel graphics support Nvidia CUDA (which this miner is using). You may have more luck finding some miner that use OpenCL instead. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I have never tried using integrated graphics for mining. Only NVidia supports CUDA. Intel is - oddball, though they support OpenCL so a non-brand-specific miner that runs under OpenCL should work - if you can find one. Expect REALLY BAD performance though, Intel iGPUs are a joke compared to AMD and AMD iGPUs don't mine worth beans. For comparison, on the Distributed.Net project (which DOES work on both AMD and Intel iGPUS), the iGPU on the A10-7890k (or 7860K, same iGPU) manages 600 Megakeys/sec. Intel G4600 (which has the SAME iGPU as the i7-7700k running at the SAME clock, both being Kaby Lake generation) manages 150 MegaKeys/sec *IF AND ONLY IF* you aren't doing anything else on the CPU, more commonly 90 if you ARE doing anything else on the CPU. That same AMD A10-7890K/7860K iGPU pulls a WHOPPING .... 11 sol/sec with Claymore 12.4 mining ZEC. My not-well-optimised Aorus GTX 1080ti pulls 640-650 sol/s at 160ish watts (I can't get it to clock above 1600ish Mhz boost core for some reason in the system I just built it up into, I am starting to suspect a driver issue as the card USED to hit closer to 2000 most of the time with an older driver version - but I need the newer drivers for my gaming in that machine so I'm kinda stuck). (edit - now up to around 750 and boosting to 1850ish but soaking 250ish watts after a reboot, I think the "p0 state" software Nicehash uses was messing up the drivers and boost mode somehow).

Trying to pick you guys' brains a little bit... Got a 5x 1080 rig. Just mining ZenCash now since this morning. For some reason, four of them are hashing at approx 540 sol/s but the fifth card is doing 50 less. And no, it's not the one I'm using as Teamviewer display (that one does go down in speed when I connect, but goes right back up afterwards).
Current settings as follows for all cards: core: +110 mem: +350 80% powerlimit
All cards are the same (EVGA GTX 1080 Superclocked). Temps between 62 and 66C.
Any ideas? Failing card (they're all only 3 months old)?

Swap the cards around and test the PCI-Express slot or it could be failure of motherboard chipset. You are more likely to have PCI-E slot failures or or memory slot or chipset failures on motherboards.

You are more likely to have PCI-E slot failures or or memory slot or chipset failures on motherboards. What scares me is that you might be right. I think one of the slots was bad from day 1. I only plugged 5 GPUs in that MSI Z170A Pro Carbon, but originally one of the slots kept failing. By plugging that GPU into another slot the problem disappeared. Looks like the problem caught up now. That mobo might just be flaky... and getting flakier.

My EWBF 0.3.4b closes for some reason after day or two, I don't know why cause I can't see the reason because it closes. Rig is running all the time (no restarts), any idea why is this happening? I have Win10 and GTX 1070 on it.
Is there an option to see the error if it turns up?
Thanks

why oc of memory? Minimizing zcash memory speed does not matter, you can even lower it to negative. Trying to pick you guys' brains a little bit... Got a 5x 1080 rig. This is not true. Performance depends on memory clock and core clock in equilihash.
