I know my GPU is kinda old...but why would it crash

Does anyone else use GTX645?

THIS IS BEST SCREENSHOT I COULD GET BEFORE CRASHING!
MINIMAL BAT EDIT, UP TO DATE DRIVERS

I think the latest ver. is not suitable for older cards. You need to try an earlier version where those older GPUs were supported.
Unfortunatly devs are not so good (or interested) at implementing guides for their softwares as they are for coding them so it is hard
to tell you which version you need to use.

That's flippin sad Sad

Thanks, ill go n look for older builds

Just out of curiosity, what kind of hash rate and power consumption do you expect from GTX 645?

Can't find any reported hash rate for GTX645 for equihash, can only find it for blake265 (84 MH/s). So you might be the first one to try it. However assuming that hash rates for GTX 645 and GTX 1060 are proportional for different algos we get:
GTX 1060
    blake256  -- 1800 MH/s
    equihash  -- 270 H/s
GTX 645
    blake256  --  84 MH/s
    equihash  --   proportionally would be 12.6 H/s
Now assuming that you have free electricity, we are looking at ~ $21.5 per year.
Have fun.

EWBF is tested on our Bitcoin Gold Mining Pool: https://gpool.guru. Have fun!

The problem is to get a reliable BTG wallet. I am waiting for Trezor to implement one.

Your GPU may not support a recent-enough CUDA compute version to work with EWBF.

Getting a BTG wallet is a real pain in the arse as those wallets advertised on the BTG official website do not really support BTG.
There is however a simple solution: mine on suprnova  - you don't need a wallet for mining (just an account); later when you get your trezor wallet you can  transfer your BTG from suprnova. That's what I'm doing while I'm waiting for ledger wallet to come up with BTG support.

Hi guys,
last days I had upgrade my computer.
Till now it was e8400/4gb ram and 2 GFX 1070 cards, both from ASUS - one STRIX and one STRIX OC revision.
I get about 450-480 sols/s each card. OC was about 20sols faster.
It had 2 old style hdd.
It was powered by old psu - bequiet 450watts.

Now I have corsair CS 750M PSU
I bought next GFX 1070 Strix OC
and finally I get SSD drive - Samsung evo 850.

Just after setting up the pc the general sols/s jumped 50% which is what I expected. The third card gave me what old cards.
After test I put the pc to the wardrobe where it was before.
And I see something really confisuing me.
The newest card give me only 50% what old cards.

no its regullar 1070 asus strix, two of them are OC, one is basic.
from time to time - last bought - 3rd card does only 50% of what 1st or 2nd card do.

Is the 3rd card on the riser? May be try to run it along in the main pci slot. Will it also misbehave?

Not too much oc? May be try dstm's miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2021765.0

EDIT: wait, where did you get BTG-nVidia.miner.0.3.4b?? that's not the right name for ewbf's miner. Did you download it from the first page of this thread?
