Hello, I'm new to this miner. I have a rig of 6 rx580, it is working fine with gatelessgate , and shows rates around 900-930 on cryptonite. However with gateless gate Sharp I observer strange behavior - only 1 card starts at full speed, one with about half speed, other either do not start or starts at very low speed. Could you please advice. Thanks
I would suspect the driver first. The only officially supported driver is Adrenalin 17.12.2. There is a button to download it on the "Misc." tab page. That what I thought first too. I had blockchain driver before, used DDU and updated to recommended. It didn't help.

Get rid if "stratum+tcp://" from the hostname, and you should be fine.

For cryptonight? Threads and worksize should be 2 and 8. Intensity try 112.

Need gfx804_cryptonight.bin, or where is stored the binary kernel file when you create from cryptonight.cl ?

I've switched to Compute load, but I can't locate Crossfire setting in 17.2.2, can someone point me to the right place? Another problem with recommended driver - which MSI afterburner supports it?

Somewhere in the middle you will see the settings for all the different Algos. Thanks - located, changed and that's solved my problem with some cards not started, By default all cards had different setttings As for Crossfire - still wasn't able to locate it, but I remember atikmdag-patcher addresses this problem. Thanks all who had tried to help, your advice were helpful!

Crossfire setting available only if cards can be connected in Crossfire mode. It's only when 2 or 3 same cards F.e. 2x480 or 2x580.

right, I have 6 rx580, although not exactly the same, 4 4GB + 2 8GB, can't see crossfire settings

Nonetheless if setting absent then it's disabled. Yes, I think so. Just happy to say that I'm impressed by the speed of GGS on cryptonight, a solid improvement for my rig from 5400 to 5600 H/s (was on gatelessgate before) and seems to be stable. Great work of the dev, appreciate it. Already shared link to this topic in several places, I think at the moment miner does not have publicity it deserve!

Tighter timings can't be pushed as far, so I suspect that is really the issue. i.e. I think it is safe to apply the strapmod changes (RRD=5, FAW&32AW=0, ACTRD=16), but you won't be able to overclock the memory as much. If 2150 is stable without the strapmod changes, then I bet 2050-2100 should still be stable with the changes.
But will strapmod give more speed than 100MHz overclock? And for wich algos strapmod gives more speed? Probably for ethash. And probably for equihash too, though there is room for more tweaking when it comes to equihash. I haven't tested cryptonight. Memory will consume 5% less power at 2050 vs 2150, and so the memory will also run cooler. See, I did months of experiments with memory timing mods, and I didn't find these strapmod changes particularly safe, at least with RX 470/480. 32AW=0 was especially dangerous, and I also found that ACTRD=16 to be too low in some cases. With Equihash, anything below ACTRD=23 hurts performance IIRC. I cannot wait to get back to these mods. We will see... I've started playing with memory timings again, and this time I want to be more methodical. I want to read the EDC count register to see when different timings start causing CRC errors. I'm pretty sure it's one of the memory controller registers, as HWINFO is able to display it. I've tried mmMC_SEQ_IO_REDC, and that changes very quickly and randomly. mmMC_BIST_RDATA_EDC is quite large (over 1 billion on a few chards I checked) and doesn't seem to change.

I am trying to make the AMD Display Library behave for the last few days, and I am finally getting there. I have no idea why the library is so weird, but I am happy as long as my miner is working reliably with it...

Is there a linux version of software? On github I can't find any link.
p.s. looks there is none version for linux. If there would be one I bet you could get much more profit (most serious miners are on linux I believe).
