Not sure if anyone else has had issues with high DPI displays and GGS, but I couldn't see the checkboxes for selecting active GPUs when I updated from 1.2.2 to 1.2.7 (Win10, desktop resolution is 3840x2160). Changing the DPI scaling options in Properties fixed the table showing properly so I could actually activate the GPUs I wanted. Kinda obvious solution to try but just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone ran into the same issue and wasn't sure. Screenshot for option to change: https://imgur.com/s7jOCa6

Ahh, well that was too soon. It crashed again. Windows page fault. I have scanned the drive and ran sfc /scannow and no errors. Any thoughts on this? Is there a log I can pull info from or setup to help?
Edit:Where does this application even log to? I see nothing in the install dir.
Are you using the recommended driver (18.1.1) with CrossFire off? The log file is in %AppData%. i still use august blockchain drivers! i should switch to 18.1.1?

https://imgur.com/a/HVI8hThat's my graphic and cpu usage - over 60%. When I use default settings (i=1, worksize=64), I have more troubles with hashrate drop, but less freezes. I'm waiting for improvements. Like this miner, but don't like strange drops and freezes.

But if on your system GGS works fine with your current driver, you can leave it.

" 2018-01-24 20:57:23.6394 [1] Failed to update pool statistics. 2018-01-24 20:57:24.1227 [1] Failed to update pool statistics. 2018-01-24 20:57:25.1188 [1] Failed to update pool statistics. I found that a Windows patch updated the DXGKRNL file, but I was having crashes before this update. I uninstalled that update and will also try newest miner version to see if that helps.

How much pagefile size is set on your system? Try to increase it to summary size of your videocards videomemory. Check drive where pagefile located on errors via My computer or chkdsk command.
I didn't see your post earlier and just checked - pagefile is at 24G, which was recommended and set by GGS when I installed it about a week ago. I have 2 cards at 4G each so this is more than enough based on your recommendation to match the size of the video cards. I checked RAM and disk for errors overnight and no issues with either one.

Did you tried last GGS version? Bug is still here? Try to remove overclocking and undervoltage. Return default vbios. Try to disable overclock option in GGS settings. Check your PSU.

I did just update to the one updated today. It just crashed again but this time I noticed some weird behavior, like Chrome would open after a 30s delay or web pages would also take a long time to open/connect. I then stopped the miner and was going to reboot, but when I hit the X to close GGS, it blue screened...again. This time it gave a different DXG file as the culprit so it at least doesn't like DirectX 12. Something else is going on so I might just do a windows repair or do a complete reinstall. I've had too many crashes and now weird behavior so I think it needs a rebuild.
I didn't think that DirectX was involved in mining. I'd be happy to learn otherwise.
