Guys, anyone of you mining with Sapphire NITRO R9 380X 4GB GDDR5, 11250-99-90G?
I'm simply asking, because I've found a local dealer, from whom I can buy the cards for 200$ each and simply need to know what kind of h/s does these cards produce to know if there's any point in making a rig out of them Cheesy Do not have a lot of money left and don't wanna invest in a dead card.

BTW regarding a RX580 Sapphire nitros SE - I'm getting 880h/s on each card, is that okay for the card? Running on 2 threads, RI 128 and LWS- 8, 1200 clock 2198mem clock, 65w from the wall. If there's any room to increase the h/s, even if it's drawing more electricity, please share, it's not that concerning.

its even possible to reduce electricity draw and increase hashrate on this gpu, you need bios mod

I am using this bios mod - https://anorak.tech/t/sapphire-nitro-rx-580-8gb-micron-bios-mod/46457/14. After I flashed my cards with it, firstly when I was mining ETH, it got me from 30mh to 31.5mh/s on ETH, but I do not know if CryptoNight requires different settings... If you have any suggestions, would really appreciate it Smiley

Okay, then aside from the BIOS mod, is there anything I can improve in here - 2 threads, RI 128 and LWS- 8, 1200 clock 2198mem clock

higher coreclock should give you more hs. my samsung cards do with 1350core clock ~1100hs, but for me its not worth the electricity draw - ~ around 50% more
i keep them running @ 1180/2000mhz with 970hs & hynix 1180/2070mhz with 940hs

Doesn't work if I set the coreclock to 1350 or 1300... maybe I should really search for a cryptonight bios mod lul.

hello zawawa

is there any chance to increase ethash algo speed like claymore's dual miner your miner gives 4-5 hases less then claymore's miner...Huh

Quick question:
If I am mining on etn.spacepools.org the site constantly shows me higher hashes than what's locally reported (4400 in the miner/ 5100+ on the site)
I started mining on http://intensecoin.com/pool/ and although it's the same algorithm, and I still have 4400 in the miner, on the pool it never more than 4000. Something else that caught my attention is that if I restart the miner for 2 minutes I am able to find over 25-35 (7-8 per card for two minutes) shares and after that I start submitting share really slowly (25-30 per card per hour). Can anyone explain why this is happening?

first question - i noticed that too on spacepools...its just their hashrate calculation...seems to be different to other sites
second question - you are using variable difficulty so you find many shares in the beginning with low diff then it adjusts, on most cryptonight pools you can use static difficulty like that -> WALLET-Address.difficulty -> sadfjlhsögshöldglskg.120000 for 120k difficulty

i would recommend ~80-100k for you

Seems to have more stable hashrate now, thanks! Does this work also in GGS, I tested that in the Claymore's miner, but it keeps my cards super hot, around 45-50Celsius, so I would like to try that also in this miner.
Thank you again for the diff thingy, set at 100k.

45-50°C is superhot? My RX 580 8Gb in cryptonight 65-70°, on ether 73-78°C. And it's not superhot. Superhot is 80+°C.
45-50°C on my cards on idle... What temperature is on your room? About 10-15°C? Or lower?

My cards are mining ETH at 55C and 35% fan. If I push the fans, the temperature will drop to low 40s. This is on ~20C ambient temp.
If your cards are 73-78C while mining ETH, you are doing it totally wrong.

Our pool, that is a cryptonight pool is making the calculation based on the number of share  each one is sending.
The local pc is just calculating the hashrate as it is.

If  you receive very high difficulty request from the pool, you will send back less share.

The split of most of the pools are based on ppls, that among other things. rewards higher difficulty shares.

Pay attention if you choose  a fixed diff. if its wrong for the combination board/algos  it may result in lower hash so lower income.

I'm use AMD cards more than 7 years. Cards below and like 270X, 280X, 380, 480, 580. And know they working temperatures. With air cooling AMD cards is hot. Especially if several cards used on one system block. On my room is about 23-25°C.

Perhaps if you used AMD cards for more than 7 years, you should already know how to undervolt them so they won't get hot.
RX cards, especially 580, get VERY hot on stock voltages. Turn down the voltage to 800-900mV and your card will thank you.

Of course, I know it and do that. But not every card can undervolted to equal voltage. It depends on quality of card. Some can be set to 800 mV, some minimal 900. Undervolting gives not so much drop in temperature. Max 5°C.

If you use overclock options in GGS, you can disable them and it release CPU using by GGS.

All true except the last part. Undervolting from stock to 800-900mV will lower the fan speed by at least 20% - RX GPUs follow a temperature target instead of a plain old fan curve, so even if the temperature is the same - the fans will spin slower. I'd recommend setting the target to 65-70C, the default 73-75 on some cards is really high and VRMs get quite hot.

Gateless Gate Sharp is the first open-source dual ETH/XMR/PASC/LBC/FTC/MONA miner for Windows operating systems. It focuses on performance, stability, and ease of use.

Wow great job!  I don't know how you did it but my RX 470s now get 725 h/s which is 200 h/s more than any other miner I've used including Claymore, XMR-STAK and Cast.  Previously the best hashrates I got were with sgminer-gm 5.5.5 which I've been using since last June.

How's 1.3 coming?  I was going to compile it to see if could squeeze a little more out of my R9 390xs.  I get upwards of 950 h/s overclocked and 850 h/s stock.  Haven't had much luck with any bios modding so running stock timings for max stability.

Cheers Smiley
