I'm a little uncomfortable with the fee in blockchain. I've been using a fee that is quite large 0.0005 BTC. but confirmation still very long. and it makes me very upset. whereas using another wallet fast enough

Currently using Electrum for cold storage and for everyday spending. Also, I'm using a local exchange's wallet for paying my hydro and electric bills + internet and phone bills as well. Didn't have to go out of the house to pay my bills and these wallets I have been using for over 2 years now.

I use Connect-encrypted P2P wallet to keep my bitcoins and it's easy to transfer bitcoins to others.
The read & burn function also attracts me, you can search it on APP store and have a try.

As I don't have long time holding I prefer web wallet. Most of the earnings were spend upon gambling, so blockchain.info wallet is preferred. This helps with fastest transaction and confirmation which is important while live betting is going on.

Currently, I only use web wallet. I've been using desktop wallet, I think is nice and perfect but very suitable for owners with large nominal, for me that there is only a balance less than 10 btc web wallet is enough. If next day I have more than 100 btc I'll be use desktop wallet.

The problem with it is it has become a normal fees at this stage because it will take a couple of days if you are going to give 0.0001 as fees at the moment ,transaction fees are increasing and what i did not like is that when blockchain was taking the same fees a year back when you could transact easily with a 0.0001 fees. I am using xapo and coinbase as well as a light weight wallet for my coins.

Even 10 bitcoin is a huge amount with the price we have right now and you cannot really trust an online wallet for storing $10k in an online wallet as you never know what is going to happen with it in case there is a major hack,so for me i would rather save this in a hardware wallet or use a light weight wallet to store my coins if i am planning to keep it for a long time ,i will rather use a paper wallet.

There is a thread about recomendations for the best wallet to use, but not all practice what they preach, so this poll is to see what people are actually using.
I understand that some people use multiple wallets of different kinds, so this poll asks which wallet is most used, this can be measured either by quantity of bitcoin or ammount of transactions.

web wallet/ online wallet because this is very simple can open anywhere ..
altough online wallet you can use coinbase this is safety enough  Smiley

Paper wallet for the majority of my bitcoins. Paper wallet was generated using a usb bootable version of ubuntu on a clean offline machine, running bitaddress.org. Paper wallet have been printed out on a non-connected printer. Usb stick has been wiped with the most secure option available.
A few bitcoins are on blockchain.info

The advantage of using desktop wallet is we don't need to log-in every time we open it and it is so easy to use.
But for now I use mobile wallet to access it everywhere and we are lucky having our local wallet app because we can still transact with no fee.

Which wallet is that you are using without any fees.It is any kind of online wallet application. I am happy with mobile wallets and most of the coins are saved in the exchanges since i am trading most of the time and so i am happy with it until i need to take a break and will transfer everything to my hardware rather than keeping it in exchanges.

I am using a hardware wallet (for cold storage) and a leightweight mobile/desktop wallet for the daily use.
But i wouldn't use a web wallet at any time..  The Way Bitcoins are made to be used is that everyone owns
his own money and has to keep his/her Private keys safe.. Web Wallets are just like a Bank of BTC's

I use paper wallet because it is very cheap to have and it is also very safe because it is offline and you can send a lot of bitcoin as much as you can and you don't need to worry about getting hacked because it is offline and you have the private keys that are kept on a safe place but the only concern in paper wallets is its material is paper and water is the first enemy of it but it doesn't matter if you take care of you wallet well.

Yeah same with me. I just need internet with both my phone and my laptop.
But just be aware of the websites that you are clicking. Sometimes they have worms that might get your accounts.
That is what I am just worried about since I also download some files for my work or some applications with non-known websites.
Better careful than losing all your saved funds.

... if you are using coinbase for gambling then it is not recommended as they are banning the account if found using gambling or other illegal activities without informing the account holders.

Thanks for the reminder! No, I don't use Coinbase for gambling funds.

I also don't have any offline wallets yet but stored my bitcoins in couple of online wallets like blockchain and xapo. For longer term storage I still prefer blockchain wallets, and for routine transactions, I choose XAPO because they didn't have any fee for sending money from their wallet and also transactions are quite fast.

Buddy, XAPO is not free anymore. https://in.xapo.com/fees/

I think mabye he thought transactions between Xapo accounts, which should be still without any additional fees. If we look on fees for transactions from/to outside the Xapo wallet, they are still quite cheap, even for small amount transactions. The recent fee is 2-3k per transaction and if you compare it with a standard fee from a desktop wallet, it's more than ten times lower, which is nice.  Smiley
