Web wallet. While many consider it unsafe, it's what works best for me. I don't own thousands of dollars in bitcoin so it's not a big risk. I like to be able to use bitcoin whenever I want wherever I want, on multiple devices. I use blockchain.info as wallet since they are highly trusted and has not had any breach or hacks AFAIK.

Practical concepts and unnecessary syncing are needed by bitcoin mania, which blockchain still be the king of all web wallets, I'm sure most users would use it for daily transfer activities, but hardwallet is urgently needed if we really want to keep it in bulk and with a full level of security in the hands of each person.

electrum can be considered as one of the best performance wallets. Unless you are learning about the blockchain and bitcoin system and also the nodes, electrum is your best choice. Never use online wallet because they are totally suck
Yes, that corresponds to my own thoughts after I did some research a year ago when migrating from the full node. Your thought is familiar with the other one, but can you please tell me why should we not use online wallets?? Because the every person I know can use online wallet and yet they did not tell me any problem about them, yeah I know all about blockchain, and nodes but I don’t understand their effects on wallets which are online.

I use Electrum on the desktop for quickly move around exchanges, and I have a hardware wallet to where I keep most of my coins.
I also use some other wallets for altcoins.
There are many no of altcoins wallet you can search about it on tor browsers because there you will get more information about altcoin wallets because some stupid SEO has created links which is scamming links and name it as altcoin wallet so I would like to say that you should need to search about it on tor browser because this is the best way to browse some new wallets from there.

Hmm…Electrum? I once heard that they were stealing bitcoins that belongs to users, before someone clarified that the thieved were Electrum.org, a fake website that came up to deceive people. By the way, I make use of mobile wallets anddesktop wallets. I think I’m okay with them. Though I’m thinking of adopting hardware as another option.
I've seen some warnings about phishing sites. https://electrum.org is the official web site. The client is open source and the first version I've used ( 1.9.8 ) was included in Debian GNU/Linux distribution, which is itself a sign of trustworthiness. The downloads at the official web site are signed and I recommend to always check the signature before installing.

wow, I didn't expect web wallets to be the number one choice, but I guess it's easy and people don't think about security until they get hacked and burned.

There is a thread about recomendations for the best wallet to use, but not all practice what they preach, so this poll is to see what people are actually using. I understand that some people use multiple wallets of different kinds, so this poll asks which wallet is most used, this can be measured either by quantity of bitcoin or ammount of transactions.
if you ask what kind of wallet that most of peoples are used i am sure that web wallet is the best answer because web wallet is very easy to use and easy to create. we don't need to throw money to buy or purchase anything. web wallet such as blockchain, coinbase, xapo and many else. i am used these all (having account on that wallet) but my mostly used is blockchain due to blockchain is most familiar for me.

Well, "totally suck" may be an exaggeration. I do not say that online wallets should not be used at all, now I myself use some for altcoins, but the value of coins there in my case is tiny. Personally I prefer to use open source software whenever possible and I generally do not trust applications running on a remote server. It is also easy to make backup of a local application. Moreover, as far as I remember, not all web wallets allow you to own private keys.

Estimates are a quarter to a third of all bitcoin may be "lost".

Electrum is the best for me. Recently, I have a problem with my transaction which took a long time and I got worried about it. Read about how to make it faster and thanks to the option of Electrum that adds fees so that it can be faster even if the transaction is done but not yet final. This is a great innovation from them. I didn't knew it existed until I experienced the problem.

I do not use any single wallet for my bitcoins. I always keep more than two wallets including hardware and online wallet. This is the key to safely store my bitcoins. I also maintain a small balance in my trading accounts which I use for daily trading.
never keep your bitcoins in any single wallet as it can be hacked and you will end up loosing all your bitcoins. Always use more than two wallets for your bitcoins so that if any one wallet is hacked, some of your bitcoins will be saved.
Actually, I prefer to use online wallet because it helps to pay some bills and I can also send money easily. In addition to that, using of online wallet will keep your bitcoin safe and secure. However. I also have offline wallet or also called hardware wallet that you need to install to your computer.

We are trading and investing almost 24 hours a day at this company. The number one place where we have Bitcoin is sitting there on the exchange waiting for another trade. If we ever do want to move it off in a cold storage, we use a lightweight software wallet. It is a hassle in moving bitcoins from cold to normal storage specially in the case like us where we need bitcoin to be always avaible to send and receive.
