Guys, my pool hardware crashed yesterday and I'm doing manual recovery right now. The pool payouts would be down for some time and you might see some manual transactions coming to your account. I have copied the current pending balances to do the payments. Will update the thread once pool payouts is back up and fully functional.

Edit: Pool payouts re-enabled. Payments would balance out by next round of payment. Happy Mining!

No worries, I will transfer that from my pool fee balance soon. Looks like when I restarted my pool after system crash, database reverted to an old date and pool did some payouts again (which were already done before!!) and drained the pool's reward address. It was stupid of me as I was in a hurry to my day job and didn't check the database status before restarting the pool. After that, I corrected the db state before re-enabling payouts again. Not sure if anyone of those users would transfer it back   You can see some of those incorrect transactions from today morning ~9:20 AM in the pool payment page. Congrats to those lucky souls who got the bonus pay on this Friday

Edit: Had to bring down the pool again due to suspicious activity on the pool. Will do the payouts manually soon.

Sorry for tagging onto this post but for the love of me I can't see a post new message button.
I've just started using the pool 'musicoin.nomnom.technology' and received my first payout, but it's been over 4 hours now and no further payouts yet the coin balance keeps going up.
I've been using two addresses 0x2a5439b68b4cf32b61a344a931661ed6b63a7ab7 - no payouts at all, and 0xe323a2ecd432007561c11ea3c83cab0d1825c5fe one payout received.

I've held bitcoin a long time, starting to diversify and pretty new to alt-coins but done some research. I think this coin has a lot of potential and I'm considering buying it. I have a few concerns that someone might know more about.

Right now it looks like the inflation rate is pretty high ~30% monthly. I realize this asymptotically approaches 0%, but even after 3 years, we are still close to ~30% yearly.  Is there any plan to slow down the inflation rate at some point in the future and perhaps cap the supply the same way Ethereum plans to? Was the 314 coin block reward just a random number?

I've downloaded the wallet/mining client and been solo mining on my laptop with ~200kH/s, though no coins have ever showed up. I have never mined before and was wondering if and when I should expect something? I'm hardly the tech type, just barely managed to get that far.

Do we know when a larger exchange like Poloniex would pick this coin up?

I noticed this seems to be the only coin that is part of the Ethereum Alliance. Is there any real competition for a smart contract based music coin at the moment? Tao Coin? Do we know what exactly the connection is within the Ethereum alliance?

Anything else I should know?

I guess this is the NomNom pool you're talking about; I just started using this pool and 1st payout was after 1 hour then it jumped to what looked like anytime from 6 to 8 hours - my last payout was at about 8 hours.
The "Immature Balance" and "Pending Balance" counters stop updating after a while, so I've no idea of how many coins have been mined.

It would be nice to have some answer to assuage our worries.
