^What he said Cheesy

TA 101

1) spot trend, follow it until it shows signs of reversal
2) learn what reversal patterns are, how they relate to market psychology, where they occurred historically in these markets, and how to recognize them and their variations
3) have enough self-respect and confidence in your position that you don't have to troll threads talking your book
4) profit

Could you tell us just how much coin you're holding?  Numbers make the whole thing so much funnier...
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

All valid and good points (in general), but in the case of bitcoin all the data is suspect because of a certain frenchy named Mark Karpeles. So the only rational decision is to get out and let price return back to reality based on supply and demand. If I might give an estimate about where the price will be in january I would say 1xx. And I believe it will continue down in 2015 - all the way to a level that is supported by Silk Road. As most (except bulltards) knows, there is no reason for consumers to buy bitcoin to purchase anything besides that. Please refute me.. Have a good wednesday.

Not sure you can say that, the same formation happened before and was followed by more down.
Also, the circumstances were different than what they are now...

12h chart. Look at the sell volume. Not exactly a high-volume selloff. Bears are almost out of ammo.

we had a steady low volume decline since 600 levels.

I am not buying that out of ammo story. nobody is.

I am, and I tripled my coin stash thanks to volume analysis during the big drop from 600s. The big dumps, which were higher volume and obviously from a single entity if you watched the tape, was somebody selling a shitload of coins and traders following. They are not here anymore and haven't been since the BTC30,000 wall.

Look I'm not saying it is going to rocket up tomorrow, these markets surprise me again and again. Just saying we are in a longer term reversal pattern where the trend has a higher probability of reversing, and it's pretty risky to be short right now.

I am doing my best to triple my $ stash.

I will give you a call once we hit the real bottom, because I sincerely doubt that someone is so dumb to just sell 30 k coins and then leave the table.

Hidden wall on finex at 334,62$. Looks like it is still the same as before.

Is it just me or there is alot of hidden walls on finex?
Last 15min chart shows over 2k volume (mostly dumping) but we didn't go below 334$, despite ther was no support...  Huh
There was ~500 btc to 340 and 1500 btc was sold, so yeah.

Ok... because I wasn't looking so closly. Great! Probably near (today?) bottom.

Looks like it got un-hidden and destroyed.

The U.S. dollar strengthened today against all other major currencies because the Fed announced the end of its POMO bond buying program. This of course means that bitcoin along with all major commodities and most equities is going to go down in dollar terms.

What savvy Fed watchers understand is that those idiots only do something right by accident and as soon as the markets go down far enough, they ramp up the printing presses. There is not one credible inflation hawk on the board and so this is what we call a "buying opportunity".

I'm actually hoping for another test of $300 on high volume because that would make a good double bottom and a beginning to what I am fairly certain will be called by historians the Great Bitcoin Bull Market of 2015.

This is the hardest part of a really terrible bear market and nobody really knows how much longer it will last, but when the worm turns, the few who had the courage and brains to ride it out will have one hell of a story to tell.

So where are all those idiots who were cheering for cheap coins all those months?
I don't see your daily posts about how much you are buying anymore. What happened? You stopped "loading up on cheap coins"?

Blind faith.. wonder why you are attracted to that..

Lets be honest, you would say the same thing at any price level. I bet in a year you will utter the same sentiment when price is in the double digit range.

I know one idiot that said those things today, there you have it:
Do you know him?

(...)
I feel sorry for all the idiots who sold at these ridiculous prices
and i will laugh at all the bears who will get caught in trap after trap the coming weeks.

The only winners are the holders (like me) and the people who pick up the last cheap coins while they can.

We're going up and it's confirmed!

They are patiently waiting for Jorge to stop manipulating the price with his negative posts.

If you honestly believe that Bitcoin is revolutionary and will become used in a greater scale than used today, then yes, I would say it is a great time to buy.  Only time will tell, but a year from now we could see prices stabilize at around $2500 or even $5000.  Everyone will be saying the same things then that they are now:  that "Bitcoin is going nowhere."  That the price is going back to $100" and so on.

But if the price does end up stabilizing at $2500, the price of $350 today would be amazing wouldn't it?  Even $1000 wouldn't look so bad.  Wink
