The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

In case you want to Short the S&P 500 today or short the USD:
It's the biggest Bitcoin only Broker:

https://1broker.com

Based in Austria & Since 2012.

Charting site for everythin:
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/
Good concept, trading stocks for bitcoin.
But it's hard to trust you and the site because you are a completely newbie telling people to send their bitcoins to a site nobody has heard about before. High scam probability factor...

1broker is the only kinda trustworthy bitcoin only broker... Unlike the Simplefx broker which is like 3-4 months old. 1broker was around even before the 1000$ bitcoin bubble...

I am pretty sure there are several people here trading on 1broker for quiet some time.

The UI is pretty nice, easy to understand and works like a charm. Didn't expierence lag when trading (although I only made a few trades). Furthermore, they have their own topic over here which excists since 2012 -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=123492.new#new

Bitfinex.com ‏@bitfinex 5 min ago.

Trading will resume in 15 minutes. You are able to cancel any orders that are active, if you so wish.

Perhaps the problem is that Bitcoin has some leadership issues.
Perhaps the problem is that Bitcoin under the leadership of government-centric Mike Hearn is the worst possible scenario for the bitcoin community?
Perhaps, but it takes quite a bit of incompetence to lose the status core has.
Core without government tools like Mike and Gavin is a much better team with much better status.

Indeed. The markets are clearly reflecting that..

Do you feel the pain of markets reflecting "increased" XT alt coin support?
Good.

Like I said yesterday, BFX is dead. 0 liquidity. That dump was another round of margin calls. Just $22+ million to go.

Awesome Bitfinex! You´re doing a great job , as always? I Everything will be resolved "soon" just until it happens the next time (5-6 days...)
Admit that you´re ouf money and coins and give people back what´s left, if there is anything left......
Thanks for fuckin everything up!

No, they are scarcely out of money. I successfully withdrew the core of my deposit (in addition to my 0.2BTC I withdrew previously). The withdrawal was pretty fast...

Left something around 0.5BTC which is stuck in open orders

If they aren´t now wait till we crash to sub 100 and all those 25m USD longs, most of them with BTC as collateral, will evaporate into nothing as there simply isn´t enough buy support to close into. This whole thing is going to blow up sooner or later.

Withdrawals now seem to be stuck too (in a state of "processing"). Some of my open buy orders (which I couldn't cancel) got filled, and I immediately tried to withdraw the proceedings...

Time to run, I guess

RxIxP Scam exchange No. xx??

I´m sorry for everyone who is going to lose their shit, honestly!

My screen showed about 2 minutes of intense selling, down to 212, before recovering to 217. I presume that any cascade or multiple sells would have been cleared manually before the resumption, yet  that doesn't seem to be the case, so I just concluded that the same sell-sell-sell spiral was occurring.

But I'm open to correction - I haven't  been watching that close (I'm on Kracken in euros), so apologies in advance if I misinterpreted it.
