For the TAists, If we don't breach $90, will this be a double bottom?
Yes. If we don't breach it today, this will likely confirm the end of the retracement, and a new violent upmove will commence in short order.
lol

funny how everyone's predictions are always aligned with their best interests

its as if their analysis is based purely on hope

&&

you admit that you suck as a short term trader

Isn't that a little bit hard on me, considering that I have never sold below $200 or bought above $120 (except to materially hedge otc trades)?

Even if I did suck, my credentials do outweigh about 99% that I know of here:
- knew of bitcoins before they were traded
- followed Mt.Gox opening, my friend wanted me to invest, I did not, and have bought less bitcoins than him since, but paid about $500k more for them.
- 16 years stock trading, of which 14 years online [edit: correction]
- 7 years full time silver dealership
- now 6 weeks full time bitcoiner

(Sorry adam my dick is normal size.)

The support above 100 was really strong
Now we are hitting a new support line.
I think we can start a rally once everyones had some sleep and come to their senses...
I look forward to reading what MtGox has to say about Coinlab tomorrow.

It definitely should slow down.. the asks are very thinned out and haven't filled in up to $120. It seems like most of the people buying on the dips end up selling off after the price goes up $10 though, and with all the uncertainty lately I'm not sure there can be a sustained rally yet.

I'm trying to put myself in a state where I don't care, might do better in that case.

Getting tired definitely, won't be able to babysit this for long.

A lot of coins are still in dumb weak hands.

10k just sold driving the price to $91 again.
Anyone with 10k looking to exit, then there was plenty of opportunity at $120, $140 or even $160 recently.

Newsflash: If you're wondering "Is it time to sell?", it's already too late. (that means: it's time to hold or buy).

Just remember the y axis is different for the two series on the bottom, so the crossover is arbitrary.  See the longer term chart for more perspective: http://blockchained.com/depth_mtgox.png

There is certainly a change happening though.

There is certainly a change happening though.

As I see it, the manipulators are now cocksure that they can raise walls at $100-$120 range, thinking that they'll hold.

Which I don't think they [the walls] do Smiley What is in cards now is a violent rally to $135 "support" (now: resistance) and then retracement to $115-$120 range.

Bitcoin is a fractal, and it is marvellous.

Some of my bigger clients' buy time today... Grin

The Coinlab lawsuit should a big issue since it is not some script kiddy trying to simply manipulate the price. We don't know how the The Gox would be able to pay for such a lawsuit.......Cyprus taught us a few things didn't it?
