Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Pleasant morning fellow bulls

Seemingly a directed greeting.

discriminating against dweebs

discriminating against non-bulls

I wonder if even the coin beggars might be bulls too.....

Even though many of us might have noticed periods in which strings of posts in this thread do not seem to be providing anything of substance, and even pumping some non-bitcoin product or idea.. yet it seems that the overall sentiment here has been staying on the bitcoin topic and also generally showing a lot of the underlying difficulties for any of the participants herein to seriously argue against bitcoin as at least some kind of hedge... even though surely, there have been some members (regulars too) who have been making some negative predictions or even seeming to hold back some of their possible preparations for UP because they believe that they might be able to get BTC at lower prices.. which may or may not happen.. even though there surely has been a quite a bit of uncertainty in macro-circumstances in recent times, our lillie fiend (aka king daddy aka dee badger) has been holding up pretty damned well... and we also have so many of those new fractional reserve tools that might not prevent some of those folks/institutions from getting wreckt if they attempt to over-play their hands in betting with bitcoins that they do not happen to have... might end up playing out in pretty costly manners to cover some of those negative (hopium) bets, no?

Lot of buzz words in there - holy shit.. so many smart peeps still having struggles to recognize and appreciate what's bringing value to the space... it's almost like Vitalik being on the cover of Time magazine.. Can they really believe the shit that they are pumping out there through supposedly "credible" information/news sources?  I think some of them actually do believe it and convince newbies/normies into misunderstanding what is actually happening - at least in terms of where the value lies in terms of the soundest of monies.. .do I even need to mention what happens to be the "obvious" answer?

$40,000  "thanx  Michael"

Very nice one, merit later and after you switch Elon and Michael position in the rank order

It was Michael around 17k-ish I think who started buying and making it public first

"Technically" Michael started buying his personal BTC stash in July 2020 below $10k (around 17k BTC.. maybe that is where you are remembering the 17k, dude?).. and then his first couple of purchases with his company (MSTR) were in early August 2020 and there after around $10k.. I recall one time seeing the averaging of the MSTR purchases to be $11,111.11 (maybe the average of MSTR's first two purchases)... I believe in one of fillippones threads there was a rendition of such a $11,111.11 average (believe it or not?).. .

Anyhow Michael and his company had several purchases below $17k.. and of course, the rising of BTC prices along the way has not stopped that bitcoin stackening (or is it hoarding?) psycho (#nohomo)  either.. as compared to some of the dickering arounds with that seemingly childish billionnaire who heads Tesla, SpaceX and doggie coin (maybe not in that order?).

Hopefully this time they got more than some devs randomized test data:

<snip>
The hacktivist group boasted it had obtained and dumped on the internet 10GB of the multinational's records, including emails, passwords, and customer information, leading some to assume it was stolen during a network intrusion. However, Nestlé told The Register the data is not real or sensitive, wasn't stolen, and was accidentally leaked by itself via one of its own websites.

but, but, but...

there is always a dip, no?

remember 2018?  50% dip after already 70% dip.. right?  Happens ever time, no?

don't we have bad macro circumstances (uncertainties?)?

Isn't bitcoin correlated with stocks?  the NASDAQ?

government and financial institutions have tools to keep bitcoin's prices down, no?  naked shorts, no?  just like they did with gold, right?

Maybe I should have thought more about pee-paring my lil selfie for UP  rather than preparing for down or sideways? sucks to be me.   (speaking for some forum members who will remain nameless for the moment) Cry Cry Cry Cry

@jjg Exactly my point

By the way, in spite of my own ccccccciiiiiiittttttteeeeee about our current price action of the past few days.. I remain curious about the $46k to $50k price arena.. and just given the overall uncertainties with various macro uncertainties, I am leaning towards needing supra $50k for a day or so before I am really going to feel confidence that the $32,951 bottom of this particular correction is "in" ..

I know that several weeks ago, I had mentioned reaching such confidence that the "bottom is in" by getting above $46k for a day.... yet given current circumstances in the world - and some of the ongoing (yet not always exactly correlated) world events/market performances, I am not even considering $46k to be enough.. even though we have not really been above $46k since the first few days of January.. and we have also not even touched upon $50k for any part of this calendar year.. $48k was our highest in the first few days of January, if there is any symbolism in calendar years, perhaps?
