What's up with Ukraine legalizing crypto after receiving millions in donations in crypto, and then the largest bank in Ukraine suspending money transfers to crypto exchanges?
Ukraine’s Largest Bank Suspends Money Transfers to Crypto Exchanges

Also, I think this is gonna have some impact on the market price in the short-mid term, might make breaking $46,000 difficult in the short term?

I guess, they want to use crypto that is coming in, but not allow their fiat (hryvnia?) to be converted to 'hard' currency and taken out, maybe even moved elsewhere thereby probably affecting the course of their currency.
Maybe something temporary; i don't think it matters as far as btc is concerned.

-snipped-

...that is if any of us are still leaning a bit more towards bull than bear....

not easy to be a bull-leaner in these kinds of times.

not easy to maintain any kind of strong confidence that the market has not yet converted to bear.

not easy to look at all the strange-ass happenings in the world and considering whether BTC prices might not hold up.. and might we end up getting some kind of liquidation event copy-cat that resembles the March 2020 liquidation event... can the world/economy tolerate two of those kinds of liquidation events so close together without going into melt down.

its going to be easy said no one ever

Honduran president Xiomara Castro to announce Bitcoin as legal tender.

Quote
Bitcoin to be announced as official legal tender in Honduras, one year after El Salvador adopted Bitcoin, sources say.

While the move would mark the second sovereign state to adopt Bitcoin, Honduran President Xiomara Castro is said to have commented, “we are still early.”

“We must not allow El Salvador to be the only country escaping dollar hegemony,” Castro is said to have said. “Honduras has the right to move toward the First World.”

Castro will make an announcement on Monday morning by “putting on the lasers,” one source said.

More to come as this breaking story unfolds.

Fuck yeah.

I've also heard about this rumor. Nothing official yet, but it looks promising. Rumor also says Guatemala is considering making bitcoin a legal tender. Interesting times ahead.

Yeah.. historically, you have had some tendencies to sell too many coins too soon.. not 100% so.. but at least decent probabilities, and then your whole disclosure on this might mean that we are going to get a doubling or tripling of the BTC price from whatever point that you make your alleged BIG sales... .so fair enough.. fair enough....

... Meanwhile I just recovered from covid-19...

I really though I would manage to avoid it after all this time, but apparently no (didn't we declare this pandemic was officially over now when we are on the brink of WW3?). Oh well, fever, a cold and fricking tired -- is all good now.

I've been playing around with my lightning node when I was sick. I decided to add another btc to open more channels. My node currently has a capacity of 1.81 btc and I'm finally starting to see some routing.

Here's some statistics. My node was pretty insignificant until I decided to add some more channels on the 8th, which is well reflected in the graph below

I still haven't break even though. Playing around with LOOP in the beginning has costed me roughly 40k sats, and opening all the channels another 5k. So I need to make another 25k sats in routing fees before I break even.

Glad to hear you are better.

How long did it take to get over it? Did you take paracetamol, and if you did how long did you take it for?
