You know the amount of people who are hearing about Bitcoin for the first time and want to start buying bitcoins care about the block size upgrade debate?

Zero.

Remember all of the debates about BIP 75 implementation? Oh you weren't part of that debate yet you find the need to be involved in a debate about this upgrade? Why is this upgrade something you care about and not the multi-sig upgrade? FUD? Listening to the alt coiners trying to make it look like there's some "great divide" in Bitcoin?

The developers argue about code changes all the time. Let it go already.

I'm not sure who you're addressing, but I'm quite sure the community isn't expecting the WO-thread to save the day.

Will I be able to spend my bitcoin daily before and after the devs and miners work this out?

Yes.

Sure if it has a limited amount and wasn't pre-mined to death. Were any of the ripples pre-mined?

I prefer using a currency that will gain value over time.

Ok, my brain is about to break real soon. Why are you trying to shut the conversation down? Do I have to have a strong opinion about multi-sig to say something about this?

The block size discussion has been going on for over half a year. Alt coiners keep poking Bitcoin users with the whole thing acting like the upgrade will somehow hurt Bitcoin. Now they're just pointing to discussion of it as a reason why Bitcoin is doomed.

Don't feed the trolls/alt coiners.

I see what you're saying. But the launch of the xt upgrade is worth discussing. There will always be shills and idiots out there, but that doesn't mean we have to censore ourselves if there is an issue that engages people.

There's no problem discussing it but I find it a problem that there are dozens of threads discussing the same stuff over & over again. It gets a little boring. There should be a sub section on the forum to discuss Bitcoin XT. That way we don't have to wade through the same stuff in every thread. It's getting to a point where XT is taking many threads off topic.

Including the Wall Observer thread. Which is always on topic.

There's still much room to go down, notice our permabulls have been pretty quiet over the last week.

With the fork shit having no real end in sight and 32 MILLION in longs this could get a lot lot uglier before it gets better.

(Still short from 280, sold off the bits I bought in the 260's for a small loss  at ~ 262)
