If you had a ton of money in bitcoin. Like literally everything. Like your entire life in bitcoin. Like all you worked for the last 20 years in bitcoin.
Would you call it a bad idea to get blackout drunk right now? Is some move going to happen in the next 12 hours because I want to forget what my brain feels like for a bit and crash
I'm not one to give advice on this subject, but, since you asked... It's never a bad idea to get black out drunk! In fact, you should consider this a grand opportunity! Just make sure you don't get really drink and sell all your bitcoins.. Our who knows? Maybe if it's causing you mental anguish then you just might be over-invested... 20 years salary sounds a bit steep, even to me, and I've got my entire life savings in crypto (though before crypto I didn't have any life savings, so there's that. Sorry, rambling, if you're not gonna get rip roaring drunk, ima do it for you! You are a bad influence. So I'm taking your advice!!!! HOORAY For the record, I wouldnt sell my coins if I needed the money to pay for a life saving operation on my father HOLDER FOR LIFE Cheers! Just don't smash any more tv's

How did you lose? Did you sell? If you look at the 1D chart what happens most times after a "flash pump" or "flash crash"? A nice move in the other direction.

Probably not, but coinbase exchange just went from ~231 to ~238 within a matter of minutes I do not see any reason why this drop is occurring, stands to reason, others will see no reason, and begin buying back what they sold or see a good time to buy up lol

If I buy too high, why would I sell so low? I bought some @265ish a few days ago, a lot of people seem to get all scared and instantly sell. Makes more sense to just hold it in most cases.

I usually do that... actually bitfinex sold my shit 5% cheaper than where I told it to. I was asleep so couldn't buy back lower than I sold at. But I think it would have either been my stop loss or a margin call. I picked a stop loss but it acted like a margin call...

If it jumps up higher (say $250) that would be bullish for me. Until then though, this looks like a short lived rise and real dumping has yet to begin. Not enough volume on this crash to really call it a definitive bottom.

I have that feeling bears will want to repeat sub 200$ in next few hours.
yes, it's very likely. look at the volume. nothing like last winters crash. it's far from over. You really think so? hell if I know. But there's hardly any btc swaps on finex. We need those shorts to stop crashes. I don't know what to say to anybody who was encouraged by my bullishness. I took a mighty hit too. I may be a dumbass, but I'm a sincere dumb ass. I hate to say it but I'm beginning to think bitcoin is dumb. I'm inclined to agree with Edward Snowden. Obviously it's flawed. The concept is good, but this kind of price movement isn't so good for Bitcoin. I'm afraid the only people who actually profit from this game are scumbags. Amirite? Most of the miners are where again? And who keeps ripping off the USA's patents? This is OUR fault. Mine as much as anybody's and prolly more than most. We were supposed to provide liquidity. We are the ones who stabilize the price.

feels a lot like the action on the silk road take down flash crash (which began the major 2013 major leg up), like market is waiting for some "news" to flush out the last of the weak hands before hitting major bull mode ... and $161 on finex is now double bottom no?
