I'm saving all the code here just in case they decide to hide it. We need a skilled programmer to go through this and see just how bad it is, there's so much code itd be easy to hide some malicious stuff in here. Keep in mind this code is all for the IP logger and blacklist, they worked hard on this! I would just post it here but it is an absolutely immense amount of code. There's both a whitelist and a blacklist, like Coinbase. From what I can tell it is NOT all objective, they can subjectively put people on the lists. This would give them complete control of anyone who uses Bitcoin. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByLnBVYGlyDsT25MNExSUDB2NTA/view?usp=sharingReading through the code I don't like that Bitcoin code includes a URL to get the TOR IPs so that those IPs can be given lower priority/blocked. So...in the future, just manipulate that central point to block whoever you want out of Bitcoin.

I remember that happening on Gox. I had a really low price set up to buy and the charts showed the price dropping below that price and coming back up. But my order wasn't filled. Obviously some bug occurred.

Ya know I say just go ahead and fork you. Because the market already crashed. So how much do we have to loose now? I wish we'd just get it over with. Sounds like XT can do transactions with 0 confirmations due to double spend protections. That would make bitcoin more mainstream. If we go up after this why not? Ya'll are all ready to take a risk trading but not going to take a risk to upgrade the entire system?

Price is moving too fast to take advantage of gaps on the exchanges.

I think we have a pattern here. Market makers decided to start a series of flash crashes one exchange at time. First it was btc-e, now bfx. There are other exchanges that offer leverage that will become their next targets. Just my speculation.

what the reason for the crash this time?
There is probably more than one reason, but I noticed a thread was started just before the crash that claims the XT Bitcoin wallet contains code that downloads your IP address so it can blacklist selected wallets. The thread OP also claims the XT Bitcoin wallet can figure out your real IP even if you connect through Tor through some clever trick. Bitcoin XT has code which downloads your IP address to facilitate blacklistingIt could be a factor that facilitated the crash. Before I read that thread I thought the only changes in the XT Bitcoin wallet were to allow bigger blocks.
