They will end up into accidental forks all over..

btc1 beta build at https://github.com/btc1/bitcoin/releases/tag/v1.14.3. The 1.14.4 production build has not been compiled for Windows yet.

That repo has absolutely zero value in the eyes of investor.
It is just as good as some side fork chain devs shit coin repo.

Unless updates are not pushed into core account https://github.com/bitcoin, bitcoin is likely to fail in the next days.

Hard to find anything positive about the segwit2x source.

In two days both of our btc1 nodes have crashed twice with "segmentation violation" errors. Our production core nodes have not crashed at all in months of operation.

Is there an ETA for when this will be fixed?

Hope the ETA is coming..

It's difficult to tell if this is fixed or not without knowing what's causing the SEG fault.

Can you do what @jgarzik suggested and run it using gdb so we can see a backtrace?
Segmentation faults are not something we want happening on mainnet so this should be resolved ASAP IMO.

We finally got the big bounce that was anticipated from the 1800's. Market is not looking so comfortable this morning to go full bull. I'm anticipating more downwards movements by next weekend.  Seems we might play in the 1800-2100 range for awhile.
While I picked the correct bottom to buy, I'm still weak handed and sold much too early.
