You know what would be more bullish than $1200? $1000. So bullish that.

You know what a slow, methodical waterfall from here down to $1200 is called?

It's called a downturn. It's also called 50% of the marketcap leaving to fiat.

Not so bullish.

Let's put another brick (or block) into this Wall and let's observe it closely.

Oh, by the way, crypto is done.

On the way to the lowest point for the 1st august.

If you have cash (FIAT money), prepare to ... discharge it !
Whales will take the calendar timing like with the missed ETF (800 USD deviation).

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Crypto is done.

I knew it. Cry

Done? Just begun.

I think you've got your quotes mixed up. The only moose I've got is in my freezer. Yum.

May be another good opportunity to get some cheap BTC.
Are you sure that we are not heading into times where the opportunity is going to get better?

That's my doubt too. I've got a little fiat ready - not that much really - and my trigger happy finger is itching for the right time to buy more. Truth is, I don't have a single clue. Just hunches.

Btc 1000$ /1500$

Not really.... The one with Segwit will go probably somewhere under 1000$ and the one classic that is slow and 'primitive' will go to 3500$ - 4000$+. Smiley

Do you guys think it will change its name, or people at least will call it SWC? (Segwit Coin)  Roll Eyes

*edit: I mean... it is obvious the new split coin will be called in a different way and it will be a bad PR move for it.

*edit(2): And I also mean that it is obvious that exchanges will not accept the new version from the get-go, because they still operate on the previous classic version and they are compatible only with that version... right?? Or are there exchanges that are prepared for this?? Smiley

OMG now he's mocking us

I think that BIP148 will most likely fail (ie. ~everyone will abandon it right away). And the "segwit2x" hardfork is 100x less likely to succeed than even that. So I see a continuation of the status quo for at least 6 months, probably 9-14 months.

The market might crash somewhat before Aug 1 ("OMG the sky is going to fall") or somewhat after Aug 1 ("OMG Bitcoin's technological advancement is seriously stalled"), but IMO it'll return to the longer-term trend after a while.

See my article here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/wiki/faq_handling_splits

We've already been warned. Thermos thinks we're in a bubble. He's probably right. Still, I remember when Gavin warned us we were in a bubble. He was right, too.

2 Used to refer to a good or fortunate situation that is isolated from reality or unlikely to last.
‘we both lived in a bubble, the kind provided by occupying a privileged pied-à-terre in Greenwich Village’

Origin
Middle English: partly imitative, partly an alteration of burble.
