Chinese pools started signaling BIP91 today in order to get SegWit locked in as soon as possible. You can see the holdouts at https://www.xbt.eu/

Weak J-hook bounce. Price target to $2230-2240, then start to reverse.

The Lambo that cost over 200 btc now costs less than 100 btc. We've got a ways to go before it gets down to 1 btc.

JJG should match the 0.25 if micgoosens proves to be honest

just for being a doubting thomas

and a wafflemonster

its the least you can do for subjecting us all to your walls of text since forever

Regarding matching:

NOT

I am doing a service by suggesting escrow.

Regarding walls of text.  That is also called contribution services to the peeps of WO.  You think that I have a bot typing those multiple letters over the years (or "since forever" as you describe it)?  Nope.  It be called a real person.  You are welcome.

A late good morning Bitcoinland.

I see the price is starting to creep back up a little... currently $2142USD (Bitcoinaverage).

Is it just a little correction in a continuing pre-Aug1 panic, or was $1800 a double bottom (May and July) and we're on our way back up?
______

I'm grateful for having had the opportunity to buy a small amount of coin but I've still got a week to wait before I can make a larger purchase.

I didn't expect to see it bounce back up quite this quickly.

Tbh, I too doubt somebody who joined only three days ago making .25 or .5 btc giveaways. No doubt I will suffer from crippling solipsism now.

Well... as expected everything is going according to the plan:

- Segwit2x (intention) has now risen to 92.4% for the last 144 blocks
- BIP91 24.3% and growing fast

It is not unexpected that we get some more surprises and FUD in the road, but it is perfectly possible that everything goes smooth and before 1 August this issue is solved.

Also many weak hands shaken which is good for the price to keep rising.

So I sell 2k worth of bitcoin at 1980 and now the price is up to 2130 and rising. As always you're welcome everyone for my fixing the price slide.

(This happens a lot to me. Last time I gave up on p2pool they found 3 blocks in 24 hours. Ah well...)

I think of it this way: It's a luck sink: I lose out on small things like this instead of big things like health, friends, big chunks of cash, that sort of thing. Because it all balances out on the great cosmic blockchain....

Thus my bad luck is your good luck. Use wisely. :-)

Don't send anything to anyone/any address unless it has been confirmed in this thread and the address of the escrow is public in advance of doing the transaction. You can do otherwise... but it would not be very wise.

I haven't read anyone yet agreeing to do the escrow. JJG only recommended that you use an escrow and suggested a couple names but he never said he would be doing the escrow nor anyone else have confirmed.
