Our research and FinCEN’s guidance removed a key risk to EFF. Two years ago, EFF decided to stop taking Bitcoins for a number of reasons and returned the coins to the community via the Bitcoin faucet and promised to investigate further.

EFF accepting BTC is pretty major. Even though they're careful to distance themselves from endorsing or supporting the currency, this is definitely the first stage to having them as a defender in the case of a legislative assault on Bitcoin.

That said, on topic- The conference is probably going to stoke some enthusiasm, however I hope that we don't see any insane price explosion that then becomes unsustainable.

Bitcoin is fucking awesome! DHS fucking sucks! Booya!

People worried MtGox was going to get nuked, turns out it was just the Dwolla account. Turns out MtGox is incompetent, that's not news. We were headed for $120 before that, took 3-4 days to get back on track. We're only up $4 pre-DHS bullshit. It's not that much of a move.

In the meantime we've had a ton of good news,

WebMoney intergrates Bitcoins
BitPay Raises $2 Million led by Founders Fund

We should probably be at $130 if we hadn't been Goxed.

2) PayPal founders get into bitcoin
3) Return to upward trend before Dwolla news came out, we were at $119 testing 120 back then.
