Wow, so much is happening...

So it seems Bitcoin Gold (BTG) is doing well. I guess it's that time of the year again, when I have to fire up my TREZOR and split my coins to get my BTG airdrop.

And now I read about another airdrop, Bitcore (BTX)! How come I missed that?

My plan is this:

1. Create a new recovery seed in TREZOR and move my BTC there.
2. Do the Bitcoin Gold (BTG) splitting on the old (empty of BTC) recovery seed.
3. What do I do to claim my Bitcore (BTX)?

If anyone knows the procedure for BTX, please let us know, I'm sure many of us have the same question.

Thanks!

Go back about 1-2 pp.

Thanks. I did read the pages earlier, but felt the info was a bit confusing on what to do. I read them again now, and I think all info needed is contained in the following steemit page:

https://steemit.com/crypto-news/@xwerk/bitcore-btx-guide-the-2nd-snapshot-for-btc-hodlers-free-btx-or-how-it-works

Will empty my current wallet (seed) of all coins first, and then do the BTG and BTX splitting. Will let everyone know what happened, so that anyone wanting to do the same can have some reassurance on the correct procedure to follow.

You might wanna wait until the 17/12, Smartbitcoin forks on that date and you might be able to get three coins instead of two. http://www.supersmartbitcoin.com/index.html

The most expensive I've seen for purchase were all south of 100k. Read a few articles about >100k auctions, but there's no way for me to really confirm those anyways, so eh.

Wouldn't be surprised if there were ~300k bottles around though, given the rarity of some bottles and the ridiculous lumps of cash that some people have.

At least in ~10-20 years every Bitcoin will get me one of those.

Managed to sell my few bitcoin gold yesterday at the bottom ($70). My timing is still perfect when judging a bottom or top

I was about to do it, but decided to give it a chance seeing the prices of other exchanges. Then bittrex opened deposits and I sold it aroung 0.04 for more btc.

When gox happened btc was a much smaller eco system. If it happens again, its going to take years to recover if ever.

I've always been skeptical of Tether, but saying that it's going to blow up Bitcoin? You're grossly overestimating its impact and grossly underestimating Bitcoin's.

/holds 9mm sideways, does really poor, off beat rap gestures to greet Bob/

A polite tip-of-the-hat would have sufficed, but we're at least .45 ACP and higher around these parts.

9mm's are peashooters.

Not if you load them with the Swedish military m39/B ammo.
m/39B is capable of penetrating 50 layers of  kevlar, 7 cm brick or 25 cm wood. It also penetrates body armour class IIIA.

He has gone full retard. Here is his latest tweet -
Thanks to the Streisand effect caused by liars claiming our Bitcoin wallet is deceiving people into using #BitcoinCash  we grew our user base by about 10% in just the last day. Thanks for the pump! https://www.bitcoin.com/choose-your-wallet/bitcoin-com-wallet

There is no mention on bitcoin.com that you are downloading the bcash wallet. It even shows screenshots of a btc wallet.
There is a huge negative rating on the IOS and android store pages and the 10% bump he is getting is people downloading the wallets to give a negative review

It seems the new FUD from bear camp is about tether.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7efxp5/the_tether_fud_made_more_tether_congratulations/

Updated version of "all the world's money" chart: http://money.visualcapitalist.com/worlds-money-markets-one-visualization-2017/

Global money supply: $90.4 trillion. From these, only 8% is physical money.

Derivatives: $544 trillion.

Just apply the tether FUD to derivatives. If the derivatives dont blow up the financial system, so tether will not blow up bitcoin as well.
I looked at the money stack, then I looked at debt. Thought that was pretty wild.

Then I looked at derivatives. Holy fucking shit, there is no way that can possibly be right.

Care to elaborate?

On another note: After more than 46 hours the Bitfinex banksters have processed my withdrawal.

Iota is awesome.

Indeed. In every aspect.

Edit: It is so awesome I could fill walls of text that those of JJG (who hopefully everybody has on ignore and does not quote anymore) would look like a fraction of an atom in the universe.
