I think we're headed slightly under 7k within the week. Then maybe a little lower. Not as low as the 2k-3k I've seen mentioned here, though. How do I know? It is a SOMA(TM) prediction, of course! Straight Off My Ass(TM) Analytics Almost completely wrong, almost all the time!

Well, my prediction based on nothing (I'm just looking at the RSI on the 1D chart but I'm always wrong lol) is that if we go down further, first we'll see a little bounce over $8K

If this is correct, I would not expect the price to spend much time below $3000, blink and you might miss it. It could take a year to get there.
These levels also fit well with the Dimon Dip in September 2017, to $2500, which is where the real parabola started.
I hope your wrong haha, i hope we dont go that low... but if it goes i have Some money to buy more.. Believe me I really, really hope I am wrong. Unfortunately I have found in life, that Hope is not usually an effective driver of actual outcomes.. On the positive side, I think we may see 9k later this year, (before 3k), so another chance to sell if you aren't prepared to HODL through the winter.

If there is one thing I know in this life, other than my own name, it is that we'll see the "over 9k" meme one more time and then some.

Good afternoon Bitcoinland Finally back in civilization (Playa del Carmen) after 2 weeks without phone or internet access in the jungle. Seems the hombre who provides the local internet service was away because his mother died and when a power outage crashed his system there was nobody to restart it. I see the price has continued to slide since I left Canada and while it isn't as bad as during the winter, it's perilously close to $7k... currently $7228USD/$9397CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Being under 5 digits CAD is depressing. Hopefully it'll pick up after I head north.

It would have funnier if they had forked BCash instead to create BTCC. It would have diluted their shitcoin even further. Also would have been interesting to see if Roger's camp would have launched a 51% attack against it.

If anyone is thinking about getting a ledger, don't. I just updated the firmware and it was a fucking nightmare.
Part of the way through the update process it got stuck. The ledger showed the word bootloader and clicking the buttons did nothing. The wallet software just said to plug it in. No options, nothing worked.
Turns out lots of people have this problem. Their support page says that for those of us running windows 7, we will have to finish the update on another machine. One not running win7.
I do not have a non-win7 machine and there is no way I am downgrading to win10. Nor do I want to spend money on a new machine even if that was an option.
So that's the situation. The update was mandatory so no way to avoid it, and it didn't complete. My coins were stuck.
I eventually found a developer version of the ledger manager software on github, ran it and the update went through and things worked normally again. But that was pure dumb luck, could easily have been locked out of my money for months.
Get a trezor instead. Updated the firmware on that too and it went through in seconds with no issues. Thinking about dropping the ledger and getting an extra trezor instead. Or maybe an entirely different brand would be in order.
All of your points seem valid, except your assertion that you "could easily have been locked out of my money for months." First, you should always have your back-up seed before you do any upgrade, and you can put your back up seed into almost any wallet and get access to your funds. Only a rookie would not safeguard his backup key, especially when most wallets also prompt you to save your backup key.

Polo just stripped it’s users of there freedom today. Bitfinex did it last week, big things are happening behind the scenes. Get ready! Something big is happening.
What did polo do? Enforce KYC/AML rules that anyone with any clue of how the world works could see coming years ago. Oh so I guess everyone in the forum is whining about having to pay taxes still. Ive been paying my crypto taxes every year since 2013. I just wrote a big fat check to my government worth 1/4 of my net worth. I have no sympathy.
