Yep, the guy who wrote the article has a lot of faith in IBM..in that Bitcoin with its Blockchain is 9+ years ahead!

Quite the headstart, don't ya know...But IBM knowing all and its centralized viewpoint that is of 'little concern' they feel I bet...

But I'm sure, IBM feels that is only a 'fair' lead time for whatever awesome blockchain they are developing,

so they are not concerned...Smiley

I like the famous anecdote about the US's phenomenal talent of wasting money. NASA engineers spent millions of dollar trying to develop a pen that could write in space, or so the story goes. Meanwhile, the soviets used pencils.

I've heard that for years as well. I recently read this about it.  https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/the-write-stuff/

Waddafak?

Only 23 of top 100 coins are actually PoW/mineable coins and rest are token crap.  Shocked

Either most of them are not what they seem to be or people lost interest in legit coins which offer mining, fair distribution.

All the jew hating on here..my /ignore list is filling up! Smiley

It is all so 'silly' and such a 'generalization' to blame a group for whatever reason....

it's a money thing..those that have and those that do not...money and power concentrate...at least in uncontrolled 'crony capitalism' of the

18th century and standard oil and the Rockefellers etc....seems it is doing so quite rapidly again this decade as well...there will be
backlash IMHO,

as it has 'swung' too far ..but we will see...

money has no religion ...it is all about 'power' over others to your advantage.

any other theory is just silly
Consider why the jews have been kicked out of 300 different areas in the world over the past few thousand years. What is it that makes

everyone hate them. I'm sure you have an answer to share with the class, given how silly the whole thing is. There surely must be a simple and entirely rational answer.

Jesus! This damn thread!

(see what I did there?)

its just some guys love too spread there hate anonymous around here cause in real life everybody hates them, they don't have friends and especially in real life there just affraid to say somethings like the nazi/jew hate things ....... so spreading it down places as here
maybe they even got a jew close to them or work for one  Shocked  Grin

Do either of you have an answer? The historical fact does appear to be that nobody in the entire world can stand to live with jews in their midst for very long at a time. Why?

I mean, it would be nice to avoid another round of gassing the jews, is all. Or maybe you want it to happen?

Why everything is so tightly coupled with BTCitcoin??

If BTC goes up all crypto currencies follow... if she goes down they still follow :p

Leave the BTC alone...

The usefulness of these coins is mostly limited to buying bitcoin, that is why there value follows bitcoin.

No, it's because Bitcoin has the largest trading volume, thereby, the biggest liquidity. It has in fact became the de facto standard currency of the crypto world. In the same way, US dollars is the standard in spite of the US Government printing more of it.

If the US economy and USD goes down, all of the countries that rely on their economy and fiat will go down too. Same with BTC and crypto.

I don't see what is controversial about my statement... which part of my statement is controversial?

my doubting of the moon landing or my confidence that the earth is not flat?

doubting the moon landing...seriously, that shit is cray

i find it hard to believe people that are otherwise reasonably intelligent can still believe that moon landings were faked.

mental block?  lack of knowledge the technical aspects? brain washing? wishful thinking? whatever it is.. well enjoy your beliefs.

Perhaps it is better that we forget about it. What a phenomenal waste of money, time and talent. NASA would have been better off, and gathered much more useful science by sending umpteen unmanned missions instead.  I feel the exact same way about NASA's current project on sending a manned mission to Mars.

it was mainly political IIRC. we needed to show russia up. they had the 1st satellite, and 1st person to orbit the earth.

a manned moon landing was the next step. couldnt let russia beat us there too; they would then be the most advanced "space faring" nation. no way would the USA come in second on that, our national pride was at stake.

and the advances from the space program have many benefits. one being that for long term human survival as a species. we need to get off this rock before we destroy it.

the sooner colonies are on mars/wherever, the better the chance for human survival. earth is getting to be  shithole. we need "boots on the ground" at some point and automated probes are just the 1st step towards that.
