When you spend all of your sMerit, you will not be able reward any more mertis until you get more with one of the following two ways:
a) You are one of the 80 sources that get smerit replenished, so you can give out.
b)You earn 2 merits which gives you 1 sMerit to give out.

Because it's a lesser known event, and not filled with as much controversy as the Jewish Holocaust.

What I mean by "controversy", is people doubt whether 6 million Jews died during the holocaust, but don't doubt that many Eastern Slavs were starved to death.

There's also the extreme right narrative that the Holocaust never happened, so there is also that conspiracy to deal with, whereas Holodomor is generally not disputed in the historical context.

I think the holocaust was created to drive the narrative away from holodomor

I stopped working for a "salary" when I was 21, been doing this and that after that, mostly because I want to be the boss of my own time and make my own schedules, not get my life ran by someone else. And it has worked mostly fine (if I don't count the fact I had to sell all my BTC in 2015, temporarily).

You would have thought this would cause a massive jump to crypto even if it is temporary. Surely a more decentralised system is the only solution to prevent such a thing again.
Makes no difference to price from what I can see. 

Friday evening after most people get paid. People are getting mad from what I can tell.
Hearing shops are all closing across the UK too. Big stores such as Tescos etc.

Many big stores are closing up in the US too. Subway, Sears, JC Penny, etc. I think this Visa issue is hilarious and too good to be true. It does suck for the consumers, but it shows the benefit of decentralized systems. Imagine if this visa situation happened on a global scale, it would be pure anarchy.
