The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Hmm, let's see. Digital shitcoins are being propped up by fraudulent exchanges like BitFinex printing tethers, while physical metals are artificially being manipulated downwards in an inverse bubble by supplying hundreds of times more product than actually exists in the form of paper IOUs. Let's do some elementary math here. Oh, look! Elementary math says the artificial propping up of shitcoin bubbles will eventually end, and artificial manipulation downwards of metals ends, leaving anyone holding shitcoins with nothing and silver and gold owners rich.

Interesting that trust refers to the million or whatever coins as "the satoshi's"
I thought that term came of existence a bit more retrospectively, an homage to satoshi and the fact as value grew smaller decimals got harder to describe in terms of 1 bitcoin.
I believe you are misreading the document as it pertains to "satoshi" and "bitcoin". When they are referring to the bitcoins they call them bitcoins, but when they are referring to "satoshi" they are referring to the coins as well as the software, which could also be interpreted as the identity or persona additionally.

Same problem as always.
Long term the price of 5,5k is still VERY good.
But if you bought at the end of last year (or even this year) this does not help you very much ....

I still think this is a bear trap. In our country we have a saying which translates something like: "Take a step back so you can make a big jump foward". But I don't care so much really. After all, the longer we stay low, the more bitcoins I can buy with my pathetic salary I am ashamed how little BTC I have now. I am almost tempted to sell my diesel car for 2 BTC The diesels will be banned in EU, so this is a real temptation...

You need to be stocked up for when we moon. This is all just noise, a speed bump along the way. I wouldn’t be surprised if we go back to $8000 by New Year.

ABC has far more economic support, and I suspect that enough hashrate will be moved to BCH-ABC at the critical time. It's most likely IMO that this will be resolved in ABC's favor within 48 hours.
I will be a bit surprised if SV wins, though it's not impossible. If SV wins, I suppose it'll be only after at least some weeks of war. This'd be the most funny and damaging for BCH, though I find CSV too distasteful to exactly hope for a SV win. It'd be especially funny if one side wins due to economic support despite losing on hashrate, which is possible.
I don't see much impact to BTC of losing 5-10% hashrate in this scuffle, especially since the Bitcoin difficulty adjustment is conveniently going to happen in ~1.5 days. I also don't see much fundamental reason for the BCH outcome to affect BTC's price, though who knows short-term: IMO the recent BTC crash was set off by Jihan trying to make some point (made possible due to low exchange depths/volumes).
