I reopened a medium-sized short around 5.6k. Just in case she's only teasing us with this move up.

The hardest part is figuring out sensible stops.

Sorry for little OT about btc market.  Tongue

What move up Eddie?
Looking at the hourly chart in retrospect, I see a very tall wicker on a red candle. It almost touched 5700 (bitmex). It happened ~8 hours ago.
Tall wicker candle not a good sign for a rise in price, indicates indecision and likely downturn.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_star_(candlestick_pattern)

Yep. Happy short indeed.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
Something tells me it's going to be a hard week.

Daily chart also showing a tall wicked candle, waiting for confirmation with today's candle. ~18 hours left to confirm or deny

I first came in contact with bitcoin in 2011 on a blog called "Cornucopia". He totally dismissed the whole idea, and I foolishly trusted him. The next time I heard of bitcoin was in 2013 on the same blog, and then I kind of went "wait a minute, I thought that thing died back in 2011". So now I started to actually look into it and form my own opinion, after about a week of intense studies on the Internet I came to the conclusion that this is going to be  big, so I downloaded the qt wallet and did my first buy, it was followed by many more in 2013 and 2014. Since 2104 I have basically been hodling except for some minor buys. Buying and selling has been easy from the start using BTCX.se They aren't cheap but I'm willing to pay for a smooth and hassle free transaction.

And I ask again, what's the deal with the hats?

EDIT: I did sell some in February to pay of debts and retire.

If you give me a link to a larger version of your avatar, the hat will practically make itself.  I'm working nights though so I might need a sleep or two first Wink

I had previously searched for your Crest to no avail.  I've been trying to make hats for all.

Yeah, it's not on the net, only in my computer, and I think there might be a copy in my photobucket, I'll check.

Sure, give me the whole crest and I can crop what I need from it.
Edit: let me know if you have a colour preference

A link to a big picture of the crest should be in your inbox now.

Going to bed now, thank you for my new cool hat, looking forward to proudly using it.

Anyhow, it would be nice to hear about how guys like you and PeterR are considering or reconsidering their various allocations including allocating towards various bcash forks and allocating towards bitcoin.

I'm comfortable with my current allocation. Considerably more $ value in BTC than in BCH-SV + BCH-ABC. Way more BCH-SV than BTC, and way more BCH-ABC than BTC. I have a little more BCH-SV than BCH-ABC; I had some residual BTC on Poloniex that I exchanged for BCH-SV just before the fork.

Minor holdings in Monero, Namecoin, and some shitcoins that may pump.

O.k.   Fair enough.  You already know that a lot of guys (and gal) in this thread would really hold very little Bcash at all, whether the SV fork or the ABC fork, but at least it sounds as if you are, at least, putting your money where your mouth is (and I don't have any reason to believe that you are making this up).

I also appreciate the way you described your holdings, because also, we can some times respond to admit to our percentage allocation without getting into exact particulars, whether you are talking about $10k in total value or $10 million, the allocation consideration principles still apply.
