I saw some guys here talking earlier about gene editing and the like, I am also in favour of all of the technology and next waves of medical technology that are coming, dammit keep me alive, replace my body, load me into the cloud I am ready and willing
The problem with self-preservation is that we may end up losing the self in the process. It may be an obvious decision we must make or it may be insidious. I hear you... also I wonder if mental health would become a problem, not necessarily an insurmountable one.. Maybe we live in simulations, and have finite lives to preserve our sanity. Shit man, we really DO live in a simulation already its all true Did we all pick the "Bitcoin adventure, nightmare edition" Holy fuck man it all makes sense all of a sudden What if God had a multiple personality disorder ...that he gave to himself?

man
I remember real MDMA
I don't think they have that any more
They do (as actual rocks, not the pressed garbage that nobody knows what it contains). And it's dirt cheap. Wouldn't ever take anything else since you can't know the dosage of pills without substantial effort.

Haven't read the last pages so I apologize if this has been posted before. 600,000 Miners Shut Down Business In The Last Two Weeks https://toshitimes.com/600000-miners-shut-down-business-in-the-last-two-weeks/According to F2Pool, the third largest mining pool, between 600,000 and 800,000 bitcoin miners have shut down business. They have shut down at a rapid pace and done so by mid-November. the decline of miners happened because of that many used older models. Models such as Antminer T9+ made by Bitmain and AvalonMiner 741 by Canaan Creative. These models only have a hash power of 10 TH/s and are losing money at the current value of bitcoin, according to F2Pool. several factors are contributing to the shutdown. One of them is the market decline which was triggered by the bitcoin cash hard fork. This was all well known before the article was published. Take the hashrate that was removed from BTC. Subtract the hashrate added to BCH and BSV. And, voila. Looks like some miners were shut down... It's very simple math... Care to make a point? Or is it just FUD as usual?

Blasphemy! It's: - New Year's resolution - 'New me' January - 'Business as usual' February-November - 'I hate myself' December That's how healthy adults do things. Anything else is just plain wrong...

My bank just locked my play account where my most (actually all) FIAT investings located. Called them, she couldn't point out the reason but she said they'll get in touch to inform me.
I am afraid the reason is Bitcoin...
Let’s hope it’s just drugs Alright, danger is gone. It was neither of them. They were suspecting that i was using my account for business purposes which is kinda true. :/ Money was going in and out from/to my business account. They basically said "if you want to do business open the fuck up a business account."

So, no; jbreher is not becoming nervous during these trying times. Get the fuck out of here with your ridiculous mischaracterizing projection defense mechanisms.
JJG is a controversial character: a WO staple food but unsavoury to some, a rhetorical nightmare for the discerning reader but a force feeder of sense for the noob and the faith losing initiate. One thing we can all agree with: his style has been shaped into memes by sympathizers and adversaries alike. Perhaps?

So I've just spent the last few hours scanning through the posts on this thread from mid December 2014 to mid January 2015. It is amazing how similar everything was back then to how it is right now. I recommend any one who is questioning bitcoin right now to go read those posts, you will see that this time is no different to back then and the lesson I learned is buy more coins. I particularly like some of the comments from the members who still comment now. here's one from LFC_Bitcoin which I find interesting because I think he feels the same now as he did back then Blood in the streets. Is anybody going to buy? I'm a lot of $ down but would anybody recommend buying now?
My favorite comment though is this one Is crypto done?? No. Crypto isn't done. But Bitcoin is. Bitcoin will drag everyone down with it. But crypto will survive. We need a crypto that can serve humanity's needs for the next 100 years. Bitcoin cannot do this. It's unfortunate that Bitcoin has died, but it has to be this way. Bitcoin achieved so much. No other crypto would be where it is today without the achievement of Bitcoin. Requiescat in pace.
