You guys are scaring the shit out of me with those $1K calls. If that happens, I will seriously consider breaking my own rules and take money from my (completely separated) other investments to buy much more. I hope not be put into that situation. I hate breaking my rules. They are for a reason.
Yeah. For breaking them. And buying coins. For the moment I can still buy coins without breaking my rules. I am talking about a completely different scenario. In fact I am not even sure if I would be too scared to do anything if that happens. Put your limit orders in now and go live in a cave for three months. Maybe six months.

I don't like to have much money on exchanges. Just enough for trading here and there. In six months maybe I will have been refunded my Mtgox claim and use whatever amount of FIAT (if any) they give me to buy more Bitcoin. That will also help without me breaking my rules. I have heard that it is a possibility that Kobayashi gives us $450 in FIAT for each coin (because he already sold enough to cover that and the fiat claims) plus a proportional share of the remaining coins in BTC+Forks. In hindsight it is a pity he didn't sell it all. The guy must be pretty happy with his ub3r trad1ng sk1llz.

Don't worry, BTC is not going so low. My prediction is that December will be a real struggle, afterwards, the price will begin to recover, whales would probably use mass media to pump the price by consecutive good news.

Some scared noobs and crafty whales selling in Dec. What a surprise Trolls trying to scare the hodlers with 1K talks. Bring it on baby! I regularly buy with 2/3 of my salary and I just initiated another transfer to an exchange. It had been this way the last years. The difference is that I buy a lot more precious bitcoins now

My prediction is that December will be a real struggle, afterwards, the price will begin to recover, whales would probably use mass media to pump the price by consecutive good news. There's the old investment wisdom, saying you should sell when you hear about an investment at your hairdresser (sorry, I can't find a literal quote to add as a reference). At the end of last year, one of my nieces wanted to buy Bitcoin. That would have been the perfect cue to sell! There's another old investment wisdom: "the time to buy is when there's blood in the streets" ( Rothschild), " even if the blood is your own". Currently, the " Bitcoin is dead" news is stronger than I've ever seen. Based on this old investment wisdom, that would make it the time to buy now. Note: I don't give investment advice, I'm not buying, I'm not selling. I'm just enjoying the ride up, crying the ride down

Some quality TA Very simplistic but I like it better than the chart I saw yesterday about Bitcoin google searches. On a more serious note, I seriously doubt the price will ever go back below 2K, or if it does then I'm afraid it is the end for Bitcoin. For now I am confident it is a good time to buy more coins.

Whisky I mostly enjoy for exploring what the fuck is going on with taste buds.
Anything in particular that you'd recommend? I'd like to up my whiskey tasting game a bit. Depends what you're into. I'm quite fond of Caol Ila 12/18 which is peaty, but not as much as Laphroaig, and with a buttery/oily mouth feel that I quite appreciate. My favourite whisky (so far with my limited experience) would be a Glenmorangie Signet though, which is quite sweet and actually has easily discernible notes of toffee, chocolate and less obvious coffee that you don't normally find in whisky. As far as non-scotch goes, Japanese whiskies that I enjoyed were any Hibiki, Yamazaki, and Nikka Coffey Grain. They're much tamer than scotch, but interesting drinks nonetheless. Haven't really played with American whiskies yet, but Maker's Mark is quite nice and very cheap. Any recommendations that you have? you guys making me gonna experience whisky as well, i never really drunk it, so just how is the best to start with it .... ? like when out eating its something to finish with together with a coffee or .... never was a whisky fan but as a grow older maybe my taste has been changing

Anyone used GDAX in London (GBP/BTC)?
You'll have to tell us how it goes if you do use them. I've also been thinking of hooking up now they supposedly have faster payments sorted out. Well I sent a few quid in at 1.00am and it was there in minutes. I had a coinbase account way back to try it out (it sucked) so I hadn't used it in years, but it did mean I didn't need to go through registration again to be on GDAX (or Coinbase Pro as it's called). I have not bought yet (or tested withdrawls etc), I just wanted to be 'ready' and check it out. Initial impressions - albeit it was past my bedtime: Normal-looking exchange trading deck. Spread was as little as a penny up to around £10, looks like pretty good liquidity. Pairs of GBP and EUR with ETH / ETC / Bcash / LTC and a short list of some crypto pairs inc USDC / ZEC and er... BAT You can see a USD exchange but not use it from a UK ip. Didn't look into whether margin trading available. API available. GBP/USD price equivalence while I was there was a little over the actual price on Stamp - looked little under £15 more, make of that what you will. Maker fees 0.0% taker 0.3% I haven't looked for into volume discounts, but it did seem to show a 30 day trade volume. Withdrawal limit £10,000 /day - you can apply for higher. TLDR: Not traded or withdrawn yet, but with a UK Bank a/c it looks like a damn fast way to get fiat in - you're loaded up in minutes. DYOR

2900$ is the last support that could very likely not hold, and should it not then we can easily go to 3 digits again. I dont see support at 2900. But certainly above 1000. At 3 digits, BTC is failing as a project. Possible but unlikely. I would estimate that $1500 needs to hold, and I expect it to do so, some time in late 2019. I think we'll be back over $1200 by the 2024 halving. #hopeful
