Alright people, don't panic.... But we have 3 people who don't like bacon.

Calmly, and quietly...... Load your rifles.

as long as they aren't cannibals, they eat what ever they want... but I understand your point of view... no liking bacon is suspicious... no mercy against the fanatical vegan who want to criminalize meat tasting !!! Vegans should be used as fertilizers to make the pasture greener for tender meat Smiley

do you eat horse bacon?

vegan eat precious grass !!! they are in competition with cows... and as the life of a cow is worth many time more than a vegan, the choice is made, for them, and against their will !

Long live the Wild furry Cows !

My daughter-in-law is a kosher vegetarian. With the sole exception of being a bacon fanatic.

I swear to Yehovah.

if a vegan gives you a blowjob is she expelled from the cult or what?

Only if she swallows.

do you eat horse bacon?

You had my interest, now you have my attention.

I have never tried it but now I don't know if I can hold out another day without knowing the taste... Is it good?

My first visit to Japan, co-workers took me out for a proper night of Japanese co-worker carousing. Was enjoying plenty yummy foods, along with the free-flowing beers, sakes, and highballs. I think they got on a wink-wink tack of 'freak out the foreigner'. Food got odder and odder. No problem. At horse sushi, several others begged off.

Wasn't bad at all. Must have been colt.

What kind of delusional mental gymnastics does it require to view Satoshi re-establishing the supremacy of his initial design -- after it had been shanghaied by a cabal of latecomers who almost to a man decided early on that Bitcoin would never work -- as being either 'at the slightest whim' or 'his own benefit'? That's rather insane.

so hes butthurt. time to act like a 5 year old and throw a temper tantrum and hurt a large number of innocent people by crashing the value of the coins they bought by selling that chain to buy his. now thats ok, they are his. and the price will naturally take a dive, thats normal too. but the 51% attack so they cant even move them until he says they can is simply vindictive. it will prevent innocents from getting out with minimum damage. he wants to drive the other chains coins to zero and do it while no one can get their coins out to an exchange to exchange to something else.

scorched earth?

seems when there should be many other ways he can handle this without causing a lot of innocent coin holders a world of hurt, well thats just a whim to me. no other reason seems to fit.

guess i dont think like him, luckily.

bsv will "follow all laws" i think he mentions too (correct me if im wrong). you know, so clawbacks, confiscation and blocking funds can be done by those countries. which countries? USA? Venezuela? UK? China? Russia?

Yet -- if it is CSW's utterances to which you refer -- he advocates a return to the protocol enshrined upon release of 0.1 in perpetuity. If you can find some way to explain how that design -- a permissionless one at that -- can be used to implement clawbacks, confiscation, and blocking funds, I'm all ears.

found this at his blog.

Quote
Possession of a key is not evidence of ownership. It was never the intent of Bitcoin. It is the intent of people like Greg Maxwell, James Donald, and others who seek a system that acts outside the law. If you have a stolen asset, possession doesn’t make it yours. It applies to Bitcoin equally. If bitcoin is stolen through stolen keys, they do not give the receiver ownership. They do not act as proof. In monetary law, money is fungible and transferable only when it is exchanged without knowledge of fraud or malpractice and for good consideration. It is critical. To be money, Bitcoin does not rely on the mere possession of keys, which is the aim and desire of those seeking a new version of Liberty Reserve coin or e-gold. There are some who will tell you that the mere possession of a key is definitive evidence. They are avoiding the rules of evidence and courts, and seek to alter their nature.

sure sounds like a blacklisting of some sort. some coins will not be allowed to move via private key when some criteria/law is broken.

perhaps im misunderstanding. i seek clarity.

There is the sense of coiling as we near the end of the month that was present at the end of March and April. I wonder if the outcome will be similar.

I suspect that we will see more consolidation in the range we are in and maybe even down to the $7k to 8k range as we enter June.

Now I could be completely wrong, we could hit the first of the month and blow upwards through vegeta levels but I think it would be short lived.

A couple months spent consolidating in this range would be good imho.

It's is however best to do your own research.

Obviously Craig is not Satoshi but he is also not not schizophrenic and doesn't not need psychological help.

I think Craig Wright being Satoshi(part of the team, even he does not claim to be the only member who created bitcoin) would be good for Bitcoin. It would show that it has evolved to the point where even a founder cant fuck it up. We also know the tulip trust is a lie bc the addresses werent his so id rather him be part of Satoshi and not have the coins then another person be Satoshi, have the coins, and possibly dump on our heads one day.

I decided to get my hands dirty and experimented BSV yesterday.

So I bought some BSV in Bittrex, and sent it to a Exodus wallet. It was the first time I was using a Exodus wallet. The transaction was quite fast, but by then there were not many people moving BSV in the exchanges.

Today I saw the price skyrocket. So I thought that the BSV network would be under stress.

I decided to sell, as I would get 0.03BTC more for the trade. First I tried to send 0.1BSV to Bittrex, just to test it. 30 minutes passed, the amount got stuck in the network.

Then I noticed the Exodus wallet have a built-in exchange function. Not exactly like a exchange with a order book, but kinda in a OTC model. They charge a fee and exchange your coins in a way similar to Shapeshift.

So I go for it.

One hour passed. I contacted the support, which was very kind and responsive. The coins were stuck in the BSV chain, not the BTC chain. Only four confirmations after one hour.

Two hours later my BTC funds arrived. The support warned me by email. I reopened Exodus and the BTC was there.

So this is BSV. Judge by yourself.

The bear will say it was Exodus.

if i were satoshi (ALL BOW BEFORE THE MIGHTY VAPOURMINER... err i mean SATOSHI) i would dump the alts and donate them to charities/research/foundations. many of the real bitcoin stash too. i mean satoshi really needs more than a million coins to be happy? jeez and i thought I was being greedy with my pitiful aspirations..
Alternate possible scenario: Satoshi foresaw the possibility of idiots perverting his system, and maintained a large reserve of coin capable of righting the wrong. #justsayin

Shelby's response:
Quote
Satoshi wasn’t dumb enough to design a decentralized game theory that required his centralization. How can you continue to allow yourself to be scammed and fooled? Always coming back for sloppy seconds, thirds… I’ve tried to help you and @realr0ach, but both you appear to be unteachable.

Funny. Shelby had been copying me in PM on most of the recent traffic, yet neglected to include me in this one. Whatevs.

That said, it is a reasonable point. However, it kind of flies in the face of the probability that Satoshi -- whomever he/she/they may be -- likely has ownership of something on the order of 1Million BTC, BCH, BSV, BTG, etc... Exercised or not, the option remains a locus of centralization.

Nevermind the fact the Shelby has from time to time reversed tack on things he was adamant were settled gospel. I respect him, his intellect, and his reasoning skills. But I gotta go with what I see, not outsource my vision to others.

Lastly, that bon mot was just a devil's advocate response to vapourminer's flight of fancy.

that f'n kettle again..
