That's the exact mindset which made me poor.

Choosing the best paying campaign is fine but not liking them for paying low isn't a great idea. You guys probably feel like that because you already made your 2-3 digits stashes.  Wink

Well, to an extent yes. But some campaigns might add up to only 0.1 or 0.2 BTC for a year of constant effort now. You could make that flipping stuff on Ebay a few times and buying BTC instead of devoting 10 or more hours a week to writing away.

Obviously that's null and void if you're here for the sheer joy of it anyway.

bitmixer was paying 0.035/week and when btc was $500, it was $17/week. At best, when btc was $1k, it was $34/week. By not posting, I was literally throwing my money away. And I skipped, weeks, months... Please explain this to me.  Grin
Posting for signature campaign should not be the primary motivation for us 🙂

Anyway, you did what you felt to do that time. There should be no regret for that, in fact you can not bring back the time. If you would know bitcoins was going to hit $20k when the price was $500 then you would just buy hell lot of bitcoins instead of waiting for signature money.

I hope you get into a good campaign.

I cant see how I could be making money with a signature campaign. I post too little, and they pay little as well.

That's what I was telling myself. I am not posting here for the money but the coins I got from the camps is just a side benefit.

But when you think about what you missed just by ignoring those side benefits, you get what I mean...  Grin

I guess I'll just suicide. (don't worry, I can't suicide by drinking Jack Daniels)  Grin

I am working since 2013, and my business is quite decent. I position myself at upper mid class in my country and If I have kept those side benefits, I would be rich as fuck now probably not working at all.

****

Anyway, being sorry for the missed opportunities is an endless pit.

You are also right If I had known that it was going to reach $20k, I would have bought shitton when it was $500. Too many random stuff is happening.

Let's cut it out here. I got what I got and invested a decent mount since 2018. We'll see what'll happen from now on.

I was signed up for that at that price level. My record was spending an entire week's wage on a piece of shit neoprene laptop sleeve that ripped immediately on arrival, and it stank the room out. I kept it and gob on it occasionally.

Everyone's levels are different. But I wouldn't be in a campaign that paid considerably less if I felt in any way compelled to grind out posts to meet its requirements. If there were no minimum and no particular upkeep required then it would be fine, but most want more for their money which is fair enough.

The Bitmixer campaign was undemanding so it worked for me. I was happy to be here anyway even though it paid what seemed like peanuts at the time.

I guess, two points are clear (from the lively discussion):

1. Everyone wants more btc (and regrets prior decision to not acquire more).

2. It's difficult to get a good flow of btc now, be it from either mining or 'campaigning'. I don't even want to start with btc interest-that clearly won't work long term (blockfi, celsius, etc).

Conclusion: should have bought or 'earned' more, but the only realistic way now is through the ret. funds, if and when that spigot opens up.
I am thinking, maybe >5%, but = or < than 10% allocation in IRA and/or Roth.

One coin to rule them all.

Prepare for global adoption of digital money.

If around 10% of facebooks userbase gonna use facebook coin it will be bigger then paypal.

If 10% of them will jump into BTC we would probaly quadruple our userbase (assuming we have around 10 million btc users right now).

And they'll all have their Facebookcoin accounts shut down.

IMHO, facebookcoin is such horseshite, I don't know why anybody could be happy about it.
What, exactly, is the point of it?
I don't see them passing ANY regulation from the FED, though.
We should support J. Dorsey intended use of btc (twitter&square), instead.

The only good thing it'll bring is... more people to the crypto space.

There are still many people who consider crypto money worthless. Hundreds of millions of them. How many bitcoin users?

10 million.

How many active Facebook users?

2.37 billion.

Bitcoin would be at $100million if 2.37 billion people decide to to buy crypto and not just bitcoin, any coin. (since all crypto is pegged to bitcoin in one way or another)

I think it will be good for Bitcoin. There are a lot of people who does not have any idea about Bitcoin. Once facebook will come with this shit then they will get interested to see the inside and eventually they will figure out the real crypto currency.

Facebook coin will be a great opportunity to pump & dump. Get in early, sell before it fails miserably & increase your bitcoin stash.

Yeah, why haven't I thought about that? This is the only coin I would go all in and dump when I do 2x profits. It's the sure bet which'll get me to the double digits.

Great idea. Tbh, it might even get me 3 digits, can't imagine the enormous hype.

You think Binance IEO's are overhyped? Just wait for FBC. (facebookcoin  Cheesy)

Facebook coin will most probaly a stable coin pegged to the USD, so chances of an amazing p&d is probaly small Tongue

Thus im seeing it more as a great oppurtinity for global adoption of crypto currency in general.

unOfficial Facebookcoin shills. Facebook didn't expect this free advertising 🤪

By the way, honestly speaking I am not a good trader. I have no much idea when to in and when to out so I am not going to take risk with my bitcoins.
