Was $9K the top for a while? Kind of an ugly failure.....and now price has melted back into the previous range. Never a good sign. Maybe it's time to go back to $6K like masterluc was predicting.

Yes, the parabolic rise has been called off for now.

Hi McAfee, when 100k$.

He promised that in May 2019 but we are in June 2019 and I don't see any 100k$ in the horizons.

Maybe he just likes to talk shit about cryptocurrencies as he really does not understand a thing about bitcoin.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Facts are simple and facts are straight
Facts are lazy and facts are late
Facts all come with points of view
Facts don't do what I want them to
Facts just twist the truth around
Facts are living turned inside out
Facts are getting the best of them
Facts are nothing on the face of things
Facts don't stain the furniture
Facts go out and slam the door
Facts are written all over your face
Facts continue to change their shape

Reported for plagiarism. (j/k)

I know its from a more obscure title by the Talking Heads.

Still waiting...

5% #Bitcoin + 95% cash beats S&P500: more return and less risk .. every year, 6 years in a row. Note that max yearly loss (risk) of 5% Bitcoin + 95% cash is -5% .. S&P did -6% in 2018 (and -38% in 2008!!).

As an highly asymmetrical bet (limited downside compared to huge upside) even a small percentage of Bitcoin in an investment portfolio can give a massive boost on expected result.

This is why institutional investors are paying premiums up to 40% to gain exposure to BTC  trough GBTC (Greysacale Bitcoin Fund, selling his shares at an equivalent of selling BTC@10,300USD).

This is just a glimpse of that will happen when the BTC ETF will be approved: Wall Street Money flowing into Bitcoin.
Yet another demonstration of the "it is not Bitcoin needs Wall Street to survive, but Wall Street needs Bitcoin to survive" principle.

They could have simply disabled the local bitcoins feature for Finnish addresses/customers. This draconian choice is probably preparation for some more significant "institutional" turn. As in: government friendly. I stand by my opinion: Bisq and other decentralized markets are the way to go for the future.

I do not know, but I think there is a lot of pressure with the regulations, the previous week they closed BestMixer, Bitcoin Blender closed voluntarily, Binance DEX excludes 30 countries, they only want KYC.

couple of accuracy points :
blender beginning to look a bit exit scammy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=436467.msg51345567#msg51345567
dex can't exclude countries https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1135434923970457601
but overall, yes, regulatory pressure is mounting all over

Localbitcoins seems to have all the trappings of a scam site at this point. They locked my account, refuse to release my coins (relatively trivial amount, but real money nonetheless), they demand all sorts of id and photos which I have sent and still nothing.

Considering this along with their new clonecoin site, I'd say get your money out of there and stay the hell away. Things like that only get worse.

Kik has been building a crypto legal warchest. They feel SEC has far overstepped their regulatory authority in the crypto space. They say that they want this fight. May be sour grapes -- marshalling the crypto faithful to donate to the legal fund -- but who am I to say?
