Nice post Lambie.... But is there Maybe someone that could make a list with just the members that are interested for such party... And Then which would seem fit to be allowed @the party ? Smaller groups are good but I think the group would not be like 300 members More like around 50 or something....

At some point you realise, exchanges don't let you withdraw large amounts and banks close your accounts at the mere mention of Bitcoin due to money laundering and liability concerns. Your money is locked into the system, allowing only a few trickles into your bank account.
But then again. Banks are digging their own graves. Can't get money out of the system? The system becomes the new money. All is a question of time.
The guy I buy from regularly on Localbitcoins had his fiat bank account shut down. He’s started a new one & created a bogus company so he can continue to trade. It’s not difficult to work around money laundering, we have two official businesses but I have 8 directorships. You just filter the money into/through as many companies as you can to reduce taxes. Besides when bitcoin goes to the moon you won’t want to cash it all out, you’ll be able to live on bitcoin (hopefully). What you are describing actually *IS* money laundering (instead of a workaround). Risky business if you ask me. Maybe I have misunderstood... otherwise that is NOT how I would do it...

Smaller groups are good but I think the group would not be like 300 members More like around 50 or something.... Ty Goose, and happy belated. Yes if someone did start a list and give maybe 2 weeks for all WO hat members to tell them where they would be interested in partying and how many non WO hat member guests they want to bring to the party then it would help potential hosts know what to do. Also it might be wise to stop giving out hats or making new hats not count for the parties bc bad people could get on here and earn a hat just to come to the party, so only hat members as of today or something. I think the real thing that will swell the party size is that hat members are going to want to bring gfs, bfs, best friends etc to share their most epic night of partying. I honestly dont know how many hat members want to come but I would guess at least 60-80 with an average of 2 guests each so that would mean at least 210 people. Even just making a US party and non US party would make the numbers workable with 100 people aprox per group. A list is a great idea bc then we can see the real demand for said parties. You are the best list keeper here so I nominate you!

Quite aside from there being no such thing as 'money laundering', and all of us should do everything we can to get that in our thick skulls, that's how everyone does it. Lots of little useless debt-ridden companies, failed investments in hopeless cousin's ventures and general bad management. Like ... the fiat business world.

Depending on how the companies are structured it might not be money laundering. It’s stated to reduce taxes, how many big companies set up all sorts of schemes to reduce taxes? He is not totally avoiding tax as I’ve read. Why pay 45-50% tax when you can pay half that amount if structured right.

Don't worry I tipped him pretty generously. I might suck at ollecting bitcoins but I am cash rich when it comes to merits. I don’t like it when people put themselves down about how many bitcoin’s they have. It makes me sad to be honest. Even if you had 1 BTC (and I know you have more) then there are only 21 million to ever be mined, many of which will be when we’re dead - 1 BTC will be worth $150,000 or thereabouts in a few years. Where else can you get that kind of return on investment? I think you said you have around 5 BTC, that’ll be enough to buy yourself a nice house & even get a rental income from a couple of apartments. None of that would be possible (probably but I don’t know you personally) without bitcoin. Sorry for the long bull shit post but you’re better off than most people, be happy

Lambie I'd love to come to Vegas, but I must insist that we have a serious moment. Perhaps the address at the dinner could be given by that foremost bitcoin expert Ms Izabella Kaminska. I believe you know her well enough to invite her?

Don't worry I tipped him pretty generously. I might suck at ollecting bitcoins but I am cash rich when it comes to merits. I don’t like it when people put themselves down about how many bitcoin’s they have. It makes me sad to be honest. ... I am not sad. Maybe a little bit of sad, but you don't need to give a shit about it. Whatever I did, I did it myself. If I go back in time, I would make the exact same decisions. It didn't make sense to me to buy btc when it was $500. There were too many variables to watch. I told about it already a few times. My business was newly established, I just paid back my loans, had a few ten thousands (2 actually) in my hand and didn't want to gamble on bitcoin (virtual money for druggers :d). Since last year I am confident enough to throw $500-1000 and even more than $1500 (monthly) but You know I feel like i am a bit late to the party. (Flying jets, driving lambos, cocaine on yachts kinda party) The amount I have will be enough to build a happy life for me hopefully. When I was getting into this, I never aimed for the lambos in the first place. So I am not sad. Just a little. :d Btw which mf bought this: https://www.whois.com/whois/btc100kparty.comI was just going to... fu.
