Your speculative sidebar prognostication provides exactly zero value in answering the question.

I will however award you +1 WOsMerit for tweaking Searing's obsession.

Hey, I don't claim to be a secret agent man, I just say the lyrics to the song like 'leading a life of danger' and other lyrics seem to sum up me and Bitcoin.

Especially the first 4 lines in the song. Also only for FOMO/PUMP/HODL playing. (er..not so much lately) Sad

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMw4WpWD0jk

Would be nice to play it again, perhaps I need a standby song for 'sideways'? or confusion? or meh?

You guys are missing the point.

The real threat is compulsory KYC / AML for crypto providers.

The question is what is a “crypto provider”.  If the Fed tried to make github accounts “crypto providers” then we may have a challenge.

Watch this space.

Mainly it boils down to filling our bags before big brother shit hits the fan. BTFD.

Is anybody truly bothered about KYC?

Bittrex, LBC & Coinbase have my docs. Should I really give a shit?

You might give a shit if the Fed rules Bitcoin Core must incorporate compulsory AML.

But let’s not give them ideas.

I doubt that you are giving them any ideas that they don't already have, even though there are a lot of crypto ignoramuses in the US govt, I am sure that there are plenty of govt peeps who sufficiently know what bitcoin is too, and likely some of them are already participating in these kinds of bitcoin and crypto threads and perhaps even trying to influence the direction of our discussions to the extent possible... D_eddie?   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

hahahahaha but more likely jbreher and some of the bcash pumper twats...  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Anywhooo.... that would be a ballsy move to try to compel AML KYC into code that would be a direct aim at bitcoin, and likely NO compliance, so then what would happen?  A stand off?

I doubt that usa govt wants to be in a position of ordering something that will result in both non compliance and then a direct battle because the  whole bitcoin thingie-ma-jiggie goes underground..

So didn't Steve say that they do not want to impinge on technical innovation, yeah... , and surely attempting to directly compel a certain kind of bitcoin with aml kyc would inhibit bitcoin and cause it to go underground and result in a direct battle, and is that the card that the usa govt would like to play.. ?  Let's see let's see, and I doubt that USA govt would prefer to play such a card at this time.

You are talking shit.

Bitcoin is not here to help everyone, although it is a desirable goal.
Realistically, bitcoin is here as a relatively rare "allele" that just might prevent total financial ruin of everyone.
Smart people did the math and realized the eventual fate of pretty much all fiat.
Bitcoin is a great hedge. Unfortunately, stupid FB caused too much of a premature attention to the scene.
Could bitcoin continue to be the hedge? I hope so, but it would probably involve some ups and downs (and more of them).

Bitcoin is here to help everyone including Kim Jong, Rohani, Maduro ....etc

bla bla bla... I'm a retarted scammer... bla bla bla...
Listen up you dipwit.

I don't often post here, I do however enjoy reading this thread a lot. But you are totally ruining it for me with your relentless scamming attempts.

You have had numerous of people that has offered to pay you, if you accept escrow. But for some reason you won't accept that. Still, you claim that you and your "group" have a lot of money. I mean, why not accept escrow if you already have a bunch of money? Just do your thing and collect your $5 million bounty when you finished your goal.

Even if you or your "group" doesn't have the money to fund your campaign, why not take a loan? Mortage your (mom's) house? If you believe in yourself, it will be worth it.

Heck, I could offer you 50 btc in escrow if promised a 10x return in 365 days or whatever your stupid deal is. But we both know that won't happen, because you are scammer. And a pretty bad one, to be frankly.

This is a forum about bitcoin so it's inevitable that it will attract scammers. If you are trying to scam people, which you obviously are, you should try harder.  You can look up the user pirateat40, he was quite successful at it for a while.

No kiddie. What I suggest you to do is to turn off your computer, get out of your mom's basement, get some fresh air and try to interact with some girls or whatever floats your boat. But before you do that, ask your mom to buy you a new t-shirt or two. The old, ragged, washed-out t-shirt you were wearing when you posted your picture won't help you much with that. Just a friendly advice.

Off you go. Good luck.

I bet there are criteria where you can guide someone providing merits so I can send (Italian users, posting on WO, not merit sources, with generosity index always maxxed: this should work).

The recent dip bounced at the upwards trendline that we've had since late March. I can't post a post a picture since I'm a newbie, but I'll provide you a link.

I managed to scoop up a few satoshi at $10k, but I'm still unconvinced this is the bottom before the next leg up. The volume isn't there quite yet imho. It doesn't matter in the long run though, buying at these levels will still reward you in the long run.
