Dude. 16th Amendment, followed by the Revenue Act of 1913? [...] The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration. I agree with you on income, but that law/amendment does not say anything about capital gains. meh. i treat capitol gains as a kind of income (as in money i did not have, not income according to the irs definition which seems to be concerned with wages.. but i could be wrong). its just calculated differently from regular income. yeah it sucks and i disagree with what a lot of the tax pays for. but one entity i have no wish to get on the wrong side of is the irs. they are power like no other. they dont need any lawful reasons like probable cause to simply seize your property and money (right out of the banks and other institutions you keep your wealth in - they use civil forfeiture and garnish wages) with no legal basis aside from "we feel like it". pretty sure there a lot of other laws they can more or less disregard at will. they have that status apparently because they are so trustworthy and never make mistakes. /s <-- added the /s just in case people think i am totally brainwashed into being a sheeple. but taxes? look i will mess with cops more or less with impunity. i will even mess with the military (very carefully). ive even messed with judges (well very very carefully indeed.. judges have zero sense of humor) but the IRS?? no way. with them its by the book.. well as far as my cpa can figure it out. it sure would fucking help though if the IRS would finally came out with some actual guidelines and rules instead of this waffling that leaves all us honest folks wondering wtf theyre doing.

This is big. Blockstream Reveals Massive Bitcoin Mining Facilities, Fidelity An Early CustomerOn Thursday, blockchain technology company Blockstream revealed details related to their massive Bitcoin mining data centers in Quebec, Canada and Adel, Georgia. The facilities account for a combined 300 megawatts worth of energy capacity, and they’re currently available for hosting enterprise-level mining activities, in addition to Blockstream’s own mining operations.
The size of Blockstream’s mining facilities cannot be overstated. According to Blockstream CSO Samson Mow, the facilities would account for roughly 6 exahashes of Bitcoin mining power if used at full capacity with the latest ASIC mining hardware
This is 7.5% of mining hashpower (conservative hypotesis the miners are are all already turned on now).

[snip] Sorry it took me soo long, I've been under alot of pressure lately and when I have a little time I just didn't feel like doing the search. These metrics are measuring "work done", not security.
More "work done" doesn't necessarily mean "more security".
For example take the following two blockchains:
Bitcoin Cash (SHA-256 @ 2 PH/s) or ($5/s) Zcash (Equihash @ 4 GH/s) or ($3/s)
https://github.com/lukechilds/howmanyconfs.comThank you very much. Appreciated and digging into that. I would send more merits, but I am running sooo low atm. Never a problem buddy, and never worry about merits I don't care about them.

This is like telling people to put toilet paper between their hand and arse before wiping off. But many still don't even cover the keypad of an ATM machine when putting in their pin code Facepalm emoticon needed... bidet user unaffected. perhaps there is edge cases where it might happen but i do not wish to dwell on such things.

Here's Donald posing with a baby orphaned in the recent shootings. Behold the power of positivity. Things never seem so bad with a big smile and a thumbs up. We can say "Only in USA", truly unimaginable almost anywhere in the world. Collecting political points in one such tragedy should attract voters to vote for Trump again? Will one mass murder per day soon become two per day? Maybe Purge is not far from becoming reality...

Crisis actor Donald Trump doesn't seem aware nobody believes in their false flag attacks at Mandalay Bay, El Paso, and Parkland, Florida, and everyone is well aware of his treason in trying to ban the 2nd amendment for his evil cult of Judaism masters.

Follow up article FedNow — US Federal Reserve Payment Tool a Threat to Banks, Not Crypto Banks, not cryptos?
Notably, the Fed’s announcement starts with an emphasis on “the rapid evolution of technology,'' which enables the Federal Reserve and the payment industry “to modernize the nation's payment system and establish a safe and efficient foundation for the future.” However, neither the press release nor the enclosed FAQs make a single mention of Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, Libra, blockchain or even digital currencies at large.
Indeed, it seems that FedNow wants to topple large banking institutions rather than cryptocurrencies. In fact, banking giants Citigroup, Bancorp and JPMorgan Chase have already started fighting the government’s new effort, as it seems to overlap with their own real-time payments system, the Clearing House, which the banks launched in 2017, following a cumulative $1 billion investment injection from those participating.
It is RIDICULOUS how bullish this is for Bitcoin. I watched this happen in the music industry with the advent of lossy compressed audio (MP3s). The RIAA started doing things like taxing blank CDs and suing napster users while the likes of Apple, and eventually Spotify built the rails for the new music delivery system for the world. By the time it was all over the music industry had been changed from the outside in. This is what Bitcoin will be doing to the financial systems of the world over the next 5 years. They actually added a verse to Mahatma's old song: First they ignore you... Then they laugh at you... Then they fight you... Then they lose focus , forget about you briefly, and start cannibalizing each other and themselves...Then you win.
