I actually closed my position at $10800, so I am happy that I determinantly did that.
Yeah, $9k2 to $9k5 is important range for Bitcoin. If it fails to protect those supports, it might fall to around $8k. When it dips below $9k2, it will be so easy to fastly fall to $8k, because people will fall into panic again, and 20% drops to liquidate longers at $9k2 will occur. Not too difficult to happen if $9k2 broken. Anyway, if it occurs, $8k will be the last chance to accumulate cheap Bitcoin for it's next bill run around February to March next year. I don't think Bitcoin will start next bull run soon about December.
I set up my stop loss at $10k8.
Within the next five days, that is important period for bitcoin. Personally, I already made my stop-loss and profit-taking orders.
Like that (taking profits at $13300, while cutting loss at $10800):
I also suggest other newbie crypto-traders to do this. For experts, I don't mention about them here, because they actually can make better orders than mine.

Bad news.

After yesterday's green everything is awesome candle, we got the red candle again, at least for now. Looks like it is going to test that 9.2-9.3k.

I'll buy some serious amounts if this goes below $8k. and I don't mean small potatoes like $100.

The next 24 hours is extremely critical. Go down and say hello to $7.5k, we better jump up now.

edit: mini jump from 9.5k to 9.8k. I just bought before the jump another $100  Grin

Any post starting with "bad news" smells like FUD to me. Recently both mindrust and lambie are posting their predictions based on nothing (I recall a better expression, but I don't want to be rude because I really liked these guys at first). It looks like they are trying to influence the others with their repetetive 4900 resp. 7000-8000 claims. Guys, you are very new to the Bitcoin world. The market punished you for 6 months, now you are hoping to catch back what was missed. It is better to be honest and not lie to us. Learn your lessons, invest regularly and don't try to cheat the market, it will bite you. Leave the trade and FUD trolling to the pro's.  Don't go to the dark side!  Grin

Can you imagine that JJG is an alter ego of our poor scrochie? This could be a real conspiracy theory.

Lying?
- I think they're as honest as it gets.

Very new?
- Lambie is not new & I don't believe mindtrust is either.

Influence?
- In a speculation thread? Really?

Punished?
- Hodlers are never punished for hodling.

You wouldn't happen to be related to serveria.com now would you? Roll Eyes

If someone feel stressful with bitcoin dumps, and don't want to sell their bitcoin at the moment. They can take current low fees to move and consolidate their bitcoin.
Despite of bitcoin dumps and pumps last two days, and people went crazy with bitcoin tradings; at the moment as well as early today I observed, bitcoin transaction fees fell to 1 sat/byte. Fees for transaction with 1 input (148 bytes), 1 outputs (34 bytes) costs only 192 satoshis.
It is a best time to consolidate your bitcoin leftovers, but it doesn't last for too long. Hurry up.

I've never sodl a single satoshi since the day I've started accumulating in 2016.

Cryptotourist's other points are also true.

Don't like me just because I make moon predictions. I only tell what I (can) see ahead of us.

I was calling 3k (theymos did too), last year when we were going down.

Anyway just ignore me if you don't like me.

Still 30% of them need to be evacuated.Hopefully it will happen in the next few years.
It's not that the market does not need altcoins. A healthy one is always welcome.

Problem: Bitcoin is so strong for me that it's hard for me to find an altcoin although I have a very small amount of NEO and ETH. Kept them with the hope that some day they will double up the price against bitcoins and I will sell them.

What are your price prediction for the next 4 months?

My prediction at the end of the year (4 months later around November/December) right now looking at my chart I can say it is around >$14k.

This is because the bull market is still in play. We didn't do any big drops and there is still big demand. Any drop to the solid support levels is a good chance to increase your hodlings. What's happening is the exact opposite of last year. This is a bull market that's the most important information you need to not forget.

This prediction of mine can change in time if some sudden big downwards movements happen but this is how it looks like now. I believe we'll see another All Year High before leaving 2019.

The same was given by hd49728 yesterday. I will be happy with this price range. A steady growth is much important.
