Good Lord. It's still early days gents. Or maybe no one will EVER understand what the fuck bitcoin actually is. This is like a cellphone with a rotary dial. Except at least a cellphone with a rotary dial would be something you could trust to do what it is made to do. I wouldn't trust this anywhere but in my trashcan. Bobby Lee is either Lazy as hell or a scammer. My SATs are on the latter, sorry. Why not just get a complete digital device like a trezor or a ledger nano. Do we really need any more cards in our (physical ) wallets? I didnt like the idea of this either. But some people have agreed it is all and good in a thread yesterday when it was announced to launch their product. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184419A 24k gold plated version? Can you say money/crypto cash grab

Good morning Bitcoinland. Still going sideways... currently $10317USD/$13646CAD (Bitcoinaverage). I guess no news is good news. Roach its about time for you to make your prodigal son's journey home to Bitcoin the almighty father of coins.
-snip-
You forgot the part where the devout Bitcoin-loving neighbors, jolly from a lifestyle of eating fatted calf and drinking fancy drinks daily (we won't name names) raised their glasses in laughter and rejoiced in the fact that maybe the silly twit had finally come to his senses. Hallelujah! I should have put more thought into it. Perhaps scribes will put it in the King Jimbo's translation

Fuck lawyers, the only time they have their hands in their own pockets is during a Blizzard.
What's the difference between a rooster and a lawyer? A rooster clucks defiance while a lawyer... _____ Actually, I don't hate lawyers. I hate other people's lawyers. I hate the fact that the human race is so twisted it created a need for people to have to have their own language in order to screw those that don't know nor can afford to know the code. Sounds like a sensible way to launder the stolen bitcoin Good catch Hairy! Only a matter of time, silicon bloatware. 18 Gigs of memory onboard is a lot of realistate and its not hard to throw in the kitchen sink. With that said its a pretty good idea to give base layer access to all functions an AI would need but I'd like to hear how the scheduler is handling all those aspects and what they are using (like AMD's infinity layer) for inter-module communication bus topology. I hope they are not just slapping in a ring like Intel did on the first dual cores. They always calls us paranoids until we are proved correct and then all you hear by then is "everyone already knew this".
Indeed. The process by which a theory goes from being considered so wildly outlandish that anyone who espouses it is clearly insane to, when shown to be the actual facts, being "no big deal" never ceases to amaze me. I think its a defense mechanism that allows them to keep their blinders on(and gobbling up pop culture mainstream distractions while eating fistful's of trans-fats and saying they are just bog boned) while still deluding themselves into thinking that they have eyes wide open.

CME’s BTC Index Provider CF Benchmarks Wins EU LicenseCF Benchmarks, CME Group’s Bitcoin (BTC) index provider, received a benchmark license under the European Benchmarks Regulation (EU BMR).
On Sept. 13, CF Benchmarks’ official Twitter account announced that the firm received its license from the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). In the tweet, the firm also claims to be the first cryptocurrency index provider to reach this goal:

This institutionalized jargon they wrap up whether the average person is capable of making his own decisions is intentionally obfuscated and i can't keep up nor remember the intricacies. A rooster clucks defiance while a lawyer... _____
This took me waaayyy too long to figure out .... Me too and whats even worse is I know i have heard it before and just forgot the punchline! It's not for plebs.
Ohh Snap! Lol Sounded and looked really cool until I started thinking of a few things. 1) Backing it up without exposing the private scratch off 2) If pre-generated then how do they prove they didn't keep a list of private keys? 3) If I can't back it up then I can use it for Cold storage right? But PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WALLET IS NOT FIRE PROOF. DO NOT EXPOSE THE WALLET TO FIRE OR ANY OTHER CORROSIVE AGENTS. So how am I supposed to use this, like a normal only keep chump change in it use case? The kickstarter page mentions bitcointalk as a place to bid on the auction for the first few low digit serial numbers so do you have a link? ~snip I prefer offtopic talking about precious metals or dirty fiat, but please, take the Bcash talk to another place.
I prefer rocket/train memes and cleavage Mmmm... cleavage Thats a gash. This is a gash ^^^ Not THAT if Fucking Hilarious! Literally guffawed on that one!

You don't have to open a channel to every person in the world you *potentially* might need! Most people would need 5-6 channels opened where they make payments on regular basis.
- Mortgage bank
- Utility companies
- Grocery store
- Drug dealer
- Escort service
That about covers the regular payments. This is another Lightning shitcoin fallacy. Even if you for some reason don't care it's a completely centralized, permissioned ledger, the structure of LN assumes: 1) Everyone on the planet is unfathomably rich and can afford to toss a million here and a million there into dozens of different channels that can't be combined to facilitate larger purchases. Since most people live paycheck to paycheck, all or most of the money would generally always be in a single channel to maximize spending power for large purchases. I.E. the hub and spoke model with every user having a single channel open to a bank. 2) The structure of LN also assumes money has no time opportunity cost and instead of people investing their money in things, they're just going to mindlessly lock it all up in useless channels that make them no money when they could put their money to work elsewhere. LN is a dystopian, permissioned ledger, but even if that doesn't bother you, it's still useless due to too many other drawbacks.

Hodl Hodl Wants You to Clone Its P2P Bitcoin ExchangeHodl Hodl plans to make its software freely available so anyone can launch their own version of the peer-to-peer bitcoin exchange.
Announced Saturday at the Baltic Honeybadger conference in Riga, Latvia, the plan is, in part, a recognition that Hodl Hodl’s business model is vulnerable to regulatory crackdowns.
“History teaches us that if a government wants to shut you down, it will,” Hodl Hodl CEO Max Keidun told CoinDesk. https://www.coindesk.com/hodl-hodl-wants-you-to-clone-its-p2p-bitcoin-exchange

<snip> Despite being Italian, fillippone is not a total cunt. Read his beginner's guide. No short cuts, read it all <snip>
Oh thanks, Not 100% cunt then. Ok, that’s a start...I have room to improve (toward 0%) Don't take it too hard... Everyone is a bit of a cunt Except the French, they're massive cunts Well they are blocking Libra, give some credit them. France and Germany agree to block Facebook's LibraPARIS (Reuters) - France and Germany have agreed to block Facebook’s Libra cryptocurrency, the French finance ministry said on Friday.
In a joint statement, the two governments affirmed that “no private entity can claim monetary power, which is inherent to the sovereignty of nations”.
French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said on Thursday that Facebook’s new cryptocurrency should not be allowed to operate in Europe while concerns persist about sovereignty and persistent financial risks. And they did make microshaft change data collection practices IIRC so gotta give them credit for that. Now if they would only bathe.Or maybe no one will EVER understand what the fuck bitcoin actually is. Right, like that's really a private key underneath that scratcher? Pretty fucking lazy scam if you ask me. I don't think that they are complete morons. There must be an explanation that makes it something that can work, at least theoretically. Upon further check, there is a procedure, not sure how well it would work. First, passphrase is printed, then covered, then encrypted key unlocked by the passphrase is randomly generated at the second location. They claim that after wallet's private key (encrypted) is printed on the wallet, the data is destroyed (at their end). TL;DR they generate the passphrase and an encrypted private key in two different geographic locations, then apply both (together or in sequence?) to the wallet printout/etching. Or we can just trust Zcashes trusted setup? Sorry I couldn't hold back. I think my meds all kicked in at once this morning! The only bankster I trust is myself because I am my own bank. I'm not sure I trust myself now! And If I ever become my own Lawyer I will have to kill myself. Hmm come to think of it I may have taken too many of the red pills this morning...
