Maybe also disable the damn superfetch service (google) which makes a windoze pc become a memory swapping machine over time. One of the greatest WinNT 5 misconceptions, already "tested" from WinME upwards. I sped up most windoze boxes that were one to three years old considerably, just by disabling this stupid memory prefetch service bug (because it's NOT a feature, imo)
It's still prefetching unless you turn off: HKEY_LOCALMACHINE > SYSTEM > CURRENT CONTROL SET > CONTROL > SESSION MANAGER > MEMORY MANAGEMENT > PREFETCH PARAMETERS > ENABLE PREFETCHER OK I found ENABLE PREFETCHER, how do I turn it of? There is no of option, do I delete it?

Explain it to me like I'm 10, that's my age when it comes to computers. OK, here we go: 1. Open google in a browser. 2. type "how to disable superfetch" (omitting the quotes), followed by your windows version 3. hit enter 4. read the first few linked articles and follow the tutorial(s) 5. reboot On the BSV steal: I don't hate anyone but i wouldn't be too sad if CSW and BSV are biting the dust, preferably very soon. #dontbeevil

Sorry, i'm short on time, otherwise i would guide you.

https://github.com/cashshuffle/spec/blob/master/CASHFUSION.mdit is just possible that an altcoin did a thing THE PROBLEM:
CashShuffle is a powerful tool for obfuscating the origin of a coin. However, after shuffling a wallet, a user will inevitably wish to consolidate several coins, and for this another tool is needed. We need a method to coordinate coinjoin transactions with multiple inputs per user. This is inherently challenging because we want to hide input linkages while simultaneously attempting to blame/ban users who don't sign all their inputs.
THE SOLUTION:
We propose a blind verification scheme in which each input and output is validated by a random player, using a series of cryptographic commitments that allow an uncooperative participant to be identified and banned.
CashFusion provides high levels of privacy via a flexible scheme that allows an arbitrary number of inputs and outputs of non-standard amounts. It provides anonymous, trustless coordination with usually zero-knowledge of linkages revealed to other players or the server.

TA is voodoo, it NEVER works reliably. Economics of the process is what actually works.
TA is based on probability, that is based on mathematics, 1s and 0s. The latter has been reliably tested for thousands of years. The former, for only a couple of hundred maybe. Economics is based on a load suits in a room deciding whey think is best to do with their money, at the detriment of anyone else. My faith in mathematics is inexplicably higher than any moronic human species based intelligence. Believe what you want, I know what I'll be putting my money on: 1s and 0s. TA has almost nothing to do with math, it is mostly interpretation of the prior data with Fibonacci numbers thrown in to give it a 'pseudo'-scientific feel. However, if it works for you due to some 'hidden' parameter that you don't even realize exist, so be it. Happy trading! Technical indicators are exclusively based on mathematics, the source code would tell you this if you bother to read them, but never-mind. Thanks @dragonvslinux's nice charts, i like it very much. Talking about TA and Economics : Economics (macro) tells an investor what to invest; TA(micro) tells the investor when to buy.Smart and well put. Admittedly it's the economics of Bitcoin that drew me to this asset class, so I won't deny it's validity. I'm out of merit so bookmarked Edit: Merited you, thanks micgoossens for +2, though next time maybe just merit the user's post yourself

The Bargain Boyz have kicked off the celebration early with some pints of shandy, happy to have loaded up their F-150s with sub $7k corn. I suspect we won't hear from them in a while, but who knows what will actually happen? To be continued... Didn't you hear that they are still waiting to buy, those dweebs. Someone caught a slow motion video of them this morning, and I don't think that they are faring too well... They are not really in very good shape. Incorrect, they are in their prime with excellent blood pressure. Spend less time revenge typing and you should experience some health benefits yourself. Remember you are missing the train I caught long ago. To get on that train you need to divest out of your questionable investments and up your percent of investment in King Bitcoin. Id recommend something respectable as a bare minimum, like 50 As high as possible percent of net worth devoted to the King. Typing walls for 50 percent of your life is a time investment, not a financial one. Besides some bollux we can agree on a lot as well

Any way, Christmas is over, let’s get back to doing what we do best......
Observing walls, checking the price too many times a day & dreaming of the MOON!
I wish! Bought dad a 1TB SSD for Christmas to speed up his computer a bit ... <snip> Been there too, swapped parents spinning rust against SSDs, now they often think they forgot to shutdown because it boots so quick to login screen (Linux, as I have several medical certificates allowing me to stay clear of any MS products). The best way to accelerate Windows is at escape velocity.

My term deposit at bank is about to mature after 6 months. I'm getting like $1k for this shitty investment. And what is worse, the interest rates got halved. Next time, I'll be getting like $500 for the same investment at the same bank. I am making a big decision here: Option 1: Keep collecting peanuts. Keep DCA'ing. Option 2: Buy the dip, Keep DCA'ing. (1-2 btc) Option 3: Nuke everything and become a 1 million club member while I still can. (all in) *Option 3 violates my investment rules. Violates it like fuck all gimme lambo.

TA is voodoo, it NEVER works reliably. Economics of the process is what actually works. BTW: in the hypothetical surrogate TA observation that temperature is lower in the winter than in the summer (in northern hemisphere) what is more important: the "TA" observation or the knowledge of orbital tilt and planet rotation around the star?
Ah fundamentals v TA. An argument as old as the hills. The challenge being that economics is not the dismal science, but rather no science at all. And there is no rational economic explanation for short term price perturbations. Think of it this way. TA is the study of the psychology of price discovery. TA is asking the question - what will the crowd do when X happens? And how can you make the crowd do Y?

That psychology of price discovery, unrelated to economics, is also the psychology of "human rationality" or more specifically "the herd". Humans are far from rational, instead they act like most animals in a herd like mentality: they lack basic intelligence when panicked or feeling threatened.

Option 2 Option 3 I’m in the same boat. I have $xxx, xxx value in bitcoin. I have $xx,xxx value in fiat savings. I’m absolutely balls deep in bitcoin to be honest, probably way over invested than any sane person should be. I currently get 1% interest per annum which on the fiat savings which is fucking pathetic. I really should pump it all into bitcoin like your option 2 option 3 says. It is nice to have some back up cash just incase something happens especially as I’m self employed - i.e. no sick pay, holiday pay etc Edited - To say what I meant - option 3
